Agree with all the above posts (...ok..so I like pho).
What I like:
1. Richmond -Pho Lan 6950 No 3 Rd. Huge portions. Their bun bo hue is especially good. Downside: place is a dump so you won't be impressing anyone by taking them there. They place cardboard boxes on the ground to keep people from slipping.
2. Vancouver -
https://www.zomato.com/vancouver/cafe-xu-hue-kensington-vancouver - 2226 Kingsway. Known for their bun also. As a matter of fact, every time I go there, it seems that's all people eat (you might want to try the vegetarian vietnamese place next door.
3. Vancouver - Hai Phong - 1246 Kingsway - Pho is ok. It seems like a lot of families go there for the shared hot pot. Personally, I like the vermicelli bowls more vs pho here.
4. Burnaby -
http://pho101bby.com/ - 5937 Hastings Street. They got a special one where they leave the raw meat on the side. Lighter broth..(the noodles aren't as good. They taste like they just finished rehydrating them). Do try the chicken wings.
