Very good but even better is Wigan Pier in Squamish.

Their batter is amazingly thin and crispy with the fresh fish being super tasty. Very generous portions too so bring an appetite

Still lost in the '60s
Pajo's still has one location open in Steveston although the original one is shut down because their ramp collapsed.

Steveston was the other one I was thinking , I never new about the closure , good thing you posted that , I might have made the long drive over there for nothing , thanks :)
They actually have one at YVR now too.

Montgomery's ( Spelling) Fish & Chips in White Rock, on the east side of the strip is great too.

Pazos in Stevenson is good.

And, there's this good place in SQUAMISH, next to the Trading Post.

Respectfully,
Tim McGee.

I'm biased because I live in Squamish, but #3 for Wigan pier, go there once a week when I'm not worried about being a little soft, they also pour Guinness properly which is getting hard to find

I love the drive up mid week to avoid the weekend travel. They are definitely worth the drive :thumb:

Cockney Kings on East Hastings Kensington area. When I worked nearby, we used to eat there regularly.

They serve mushy peas if you are into it :D

They are still rated 4.5 Stars

Check your closet..:)
Cockney Kings in New West or Burnaby.
C-Lovers isn't bad.
As for Pajo's....I got food poisoning from there.
Moby Dick in White Rock.

Didn't people get upset in Vancouver because it had the word Dick in their name...????

Go Fish by Granville Island, The Fish Counter on Main Street and The Windjammmer on Commercial are all pretty good. Best I've ever had were in Europe.
