I recently bought my first cordless shaver, and am quite happy with it.

These often go on sale for about $60 at London Drugs, BB, etc...
First one that I have owned so cannot say how it compares to others, but I have no regrets in my purchase.
The "wet" feature is nice to have, but these shavers work best on dry, coarse hair that is standing rigid. They do not work as well in the shower. The popup trimmer is nice to use in the shower for "manscaping".

Thanks for all the tips, guys. l have a $20 Braun battery-operated foil for travel and it is amazing. Don't think anyone can beat Braun for quality.
Currently using a Remington that is just awful.

The Wahl is great for the nether regions and only one nick in four years which was my fault
The Wahl is excellent around a beard and moustache too
I got the Wahl for manscaping and a Panasonic for my face. I liked the Panasonic but it was impractical for travel so I stuck with blades and cream. I shave my head so I like the smoothness of a blade.

I gather the Wahl ins't designed for day to day face shaving? It seems advertised as a trimmer and shaver.
Tried that one. Didn't like it. And the foil shaver portion was completely useless. Still looking for a better option.
