Ronin's got a good one.

Who am I? with Jackie Chan has an awesome one (doesn't hurt that there's a really good fight scene as well... it's so long, they take a break during the fight for a breather!!)

Yup! Bullitt's still the best car chase scene, IMO considering it was 1968 when it was filmed. Great score by Lalo Schiffrin too. The other guy driving (I think) the Charger was also a professional race car driver like McQueen. Hey maybe it was our pal QM'r!:D :D

The "French Connection" car Chase scene was pretty good for 1971 standards. And yes Frankenheimer's 1997 "Ronin" car chase in Paris was excellent too as a tribute to his own 1971 car chase. Loved the gearing down from 5th to 2nd in that Peugeot that DeNiro was ripping around in.

Being a movie fan - the more recent memorable car chase scenes:

Bourne Ultimatum - sequence through the streets of Moscow. The editing made it a bit choppy to watch but very action packed.

Matrix 2 Sequel - did not realize until watching the special features that they actually built their own highway to make this work.

Gone in 60 Seconds - I like any movie with Angelina Jolie

The French Connection - imagine how difficult it would be to shoot such as scene today.

It could not be our pal QM. He would have only been about 30 in 1968.

Or the next one:

Short time filmed right here in Vancouver and surrounding areas. With a few other places thrown in...for effect and logistics realization.

It's supposed to be Seattle.
