Beat the High Price of Gas - I did!!!

Hey not sure if this is the place to post this. I have not posted many times, but I had to share this info.

With gas prices going through the roof, I was having a tougher time keeping the truck in gas. Thought I may have to sell the beast and buy one of those small tin cans. Anyway I heard a radio ad for a company called gotgas.ca

I checked out there site and decided to give them a try. What they do is put advertising on your ride and then they pay you in gas cards from Petro Canada. I've got a decals on the side of my truck and on my tailgate. I just got my first gas card in the mail. I make $100 each month that I am on the program, plus the gas card is considered a gift card so I do not have to claim it on my taxes at the end of the year. It's great.

So I thought I would share. If you are like me, that cash made a big differance for doing nothing but having some decals on my truck.

Not saying it's a bad idea....and it's not don't get me wrong. But most chaps who hang out on this board are rather affluent blokes. How else could they consider a 300/hr SP a bargain. So 100 in gas savings per month is to minor to be worth having stickers 'n shit all over their BMW's.

You're absolutley right Hitrack, if I drove a bimmer I wouldn't have this stuff on my truck. The way I look at it, someone else is contrbiuting to my pooning budget. Besides, I only took the $100 as a test. The idea is I want the full wrap. For that they pay $400/month. That's good coin, at least a couple hours of fun.....or according to the match 20 bj's (lol).

If you are serious about the price of gas

There is something called an MPG cap that you drop in your tank for better mileage.

I use them. I get 30% more per tank with these.

This company is brand new, worth looking into. It is an MLM, but you can buy them directly and not sell anything.
