I've been wanting to visit one of the two men’s spas in Kelowna for a while. Since there are not many reviews on them, I imagine there will be interest in this, so this will be a fairly detailed review. Short version: it was pricier than I expected but totally worth it.
Long version: I've never been to a “house of ill repute” before - the AMPs don't really count in my mind and those experiences have been so-so. The Beach Bunnies and Haven House websites appear to offer similar services for similar rates. I chose Beach Bunnies as it is female-owned/operated, which tells me the girls are probably treated well. The site claims services only include companionship and massage, not sexual activities. Obviously, this is for legal reasons and I wonder how they are getting away with it. Maybe law enforcement is only interested in eliminating street level escort activity and has no interest in controlling what happens behind closed doors.
The spot is in an industrial park - easy to find on Google maps. The front entrance is indiscreet; it just says BB with hours of operation. The door was locked and a lady let me in once I rang the bell. She asked me if it was my first time, I confirmed it was, and she said she would bring out the girls for me to meet and choose. When I said I already had an appointment with Chanel, then Chanel came out momentarily.
Chanel is slim, tall (approx 5’ 8”), has long dark brown hair, and is very pretty. She has the cutest laugh. I later learn she is one of the younger women working there - 23. I'm not sure if the ages listed are accurate, as all but one are listed in their 20's (except 1 39-yr old) but she tells me that there are several women in their 30's and 40’s. Chanel leads me to one of the many spacious rooms available. Lighting is dark, the furnishings are high-end, the bed is queen size, and there's a glass shower stall in the corner (showering is mandatory pre-session for hygiene). After showering, I asked her about boundaries and expectations (which I hope other guys are doing. It's an easy way to establish trust and make sure things go well.) It turns out that kissing and DATY are “extras”, $75 each, $150/ both. This is a bit of a disappointment. It's not listed online, as each provider has their own list. It made me wonder if these were outside her comfort zone or perhaps $510 is the true cost of service. (I know that some providers charge extra for GFE but it seems to be the minority) I'll concede that the spa needs to pay rent, utilities, admin costs, etc, so I expected it to cost more than a solo provider.
I offer her $75 for DATY, which required me to use their ATM - they only take payments in cash. I advise everyone to bring exactly how much cash they plan to use as the ATM has a $10 service charge.
I always like to start with some conversation to establish some kind of connection, nothing too deep or personal. We talked about travel experiences and what she likes about the job.
Service itself was fantastic. CBJ was really hot; she took her time and made great eye contact through the process. We tried several positions and cowgirl worked the best. An alarm went off five minutes before the hour was up so that we could wind down, cuddle and chat. I'll definitely return later this year, perhaps to meet one of the more mature options.
Obviously, the 2 ½ hr commute to Kelowna is discouraging, but I had friends to visit so it worked for me. Gas in Vernon is currently $1.55, which makes the trip cheaper (but also reminds us how much we’re getting ripped off back home). It's weird to me that Kelowna can support two of these establishments while Kamloops, having 1/3 less population, apparently can't support one. But it's probably a good thing that these establishments are a bit out of reach as I might be there waaaay too much if there was one in town. I hope this info helps!
