I posted a warning of these two girls that scammed me when I got inside. I left the money and said I’d write a bad review. Well looks like trouble has caught up with them. This is the exact place I was at when they scammed me.

Give the police some time!

They are working on several murders, attempted murders and sserious assault cases at once.
Some of the officers have been working almost around the clock for days.
Dealing with this shit is very hard at the best of times and this is the worst week ever.

One of the officers working on the murder of the three year old was at a friend's place. He was really rattled. I cannot imagine dealing with that, how they could have the self control not to just shoot the guy on the spot.

I’m not originally from here. A much smaller place where there’s been like 2 or 3 murders the whole 30+ years I lived there. And I Don’t have cable so was just curious. Didn’t mean any offence to anyone police or criminals.

Everything WW said is correct but the short answer to your question is yes. In Winnipeg, they get caught quite quickly or at least identified as to who did it.
I know a few cops/detectives and they have all worked Major Crimes. In Winnipeg most of the murders are committed by people who are either one degree of separation form the victim or people with "friends" who will turn them in faster than you can say Plea Bargain.
Random murders that go unsolved are rare.
That's why even if it seems like the city has gotten very dangerous the majority of murders involve a lifestyle or segment of society most of us are not involved in.
That said, that's why I also would never intervene, except to dial 911, in a liquor store theft or other situation because now a days you have no idea whose carrying.
But don't worry, Trudeau and the Liberals are going to save us all by taking away guns from law abiding citizens.

Yeah, too bad he was 20. He did have prior arrest record for firearms and was known to police for being a low level player in the local scene. You can connect the dots.
Just wish some of these kids can find a different way to get ahead.
