With the women's World Cup on the Lions are playing a pre season game at Thunderbird stadium they are hoping for a crowd of 10,000 with fans being able to sit on the grass across from the stadium seats. What your thoughts and opinions on the team playing at the much smaller outdoor venue? I know the Argos do this at varsity stadium in Toronto and fill all 6,000 seats so it's ok for a pre season I think but you need a real stadium for the real season. On a side note the Eskimos are playing the Riders in Fort McMurry tomorrow who knew they had a 10,000 seat stadium!

Not sure why Wally Bonehead still has a job, the overall talent on BC is lacking and I don't see them in the hunt this year, again.......

the Argos have been pre-empted by the Pan Am Games and will play a "home" game in Fort Mac vs the Esks.

I've got friends who s..t on the CFL, thinking football begins and ends with the NFL.
I say...what's wrong in enjoying BOTH? no point in comparing them, they're 2 different games, each with advantages&drawbacks.

s/b in a different thread,I know, but, what a pisscutter of a Stanley Cup we've got!5 games, each decided by 1 goal in the 3rd period.amazing, there hasn't been OT yet.

grusse,

pisscutter. that's a cool term. what's the origin and meaning?
very British sounding but I could be wrong.

I've been enjoying the SC Finals. just hope it goes the distance.
and NBA Finals has been nothing but amazing. it looks like LBJ is human after all as he looked
a bit worn down in Game 4. I'll pick Iguodala as MVP if Warriors wins the series.
not easy to slow down LBJ and contribute offensively at the same time.
sad to see Kyrie not finish the series.
