Anyone tried smoking big batches of onoins before on the bbq? I want to portoin and freeze them as a quick side. What kind of wood do you think works best?

Changed for you maybe LOL.....for a very long period of time I was part of the Sugarland Supper Club....myself and another pooner (now retired) took great delight in making dinner for SugarK and her Sugarlings...tis how I perfected my souvlaki recipe and also expanded my culinary skills.....and I will say there is nothing like the gratitude expressed by a hot young asian gal when she is presented with an exotic meal......moreso if you saw her the day before.....I so miss making/creating dinner for the Sugarlings as they were so appreciative.
