If you are looking for a sure fire 100% risk free BBBJ, no such thing if your getting it from an SP.
I disagree.. I've enjoyed many uncovered bj's with providers and have never encountered any sexual health problems.. I test regularly and continue to receive clean results..

Try an actual peer reviewed journal written by researchers.
According to the research ive done including talking to a health nurse there are at least 7 sti's a male can get while receiving a bj.

What do you mean by that statement ww?

I think he means that there's probabilities of receiving certain infections based on the type of act. I think the summary is that the risk level is quite low, but still there. Also the oral giver is normally at a higher risk rate than the oral receiver. As it's been said before, this is a risk tolerance issue for you. Do your research on what is possible and how likely and determine if you're comfortable with that. Risk reduction is protection where possible and risk elimination is non-participation.

According to (now retired) Oshean (aka Cindy FF), saliva will kill all STDs. Not sure if I believe that, but to my knowledge she never had one.

I think HIV is the only one that doesn't do too well in the G.I. tract; everything else is fair game. As for knowing if a provider (or a client for that matter) has previously had an STI, I don't think that informaiton is going to be easily volunteered (i.e. business killer)

Here's a good reference chart, taken from Public Health Agency information:

http://www.cfsh.ca/Your_Sexual_Health/Contraception-and-Safer-Sex/Safer-Sex/STI-Risk-Chart.aspx

They do make the distinction of some risk (but low) for certain activities. Note the lowest risk category is "Hugging, dry kissing, massage, self masturbation". There's an avenue for you if you're looking for the safest option.

Just happened to be searching through the PERB archives and found this thread from 8 years ago:

http://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?69839-BBBJ-and-risks-in-winnipeg

Similar to this thread, there's a smattering of facts and opinions. I think the interesting thing is the attitudes of the providers and clients posting in this thread. Seemed BBBJ was more frowned upon back then and a real concern about those who were participating at the time. So a question for the "old timers" is what changed?

OP , why not ask your family doctor or go to an STI clinic if you're not comfortable with your family physician and get reliable information from a medical professional? Asking people here for that information might not be the best way to get it.

There's no such thing as a risk free BBBJ unless from your steady partner or SO.

If you're wanting a more natural feeling safe BJ, have the provider put lubricant or spit in the reservoir yourself. Not the same but it might help you.
