I wasn't too happy about the ending, but it did solve the question of what kind of impact would a rag-tag fleet of humans and Cylons have on the people of Earth? If the show wasn't ended or cancelled, it would have been a great new can of worms to explore.

I don't often post simply for the sake of posting, but exceptions must be made!

The 1st hour was excellent, classic BSG, the 2nd hour was weak, very weak, it was like they didn't know what to do with it.

And all the build up about Hera? Again, a very weak tie in to that story line.

For fans of the original BSG (which, while entertaining was far inferior to the new BSG), you may remember that Starbuck had an angelic connection there too.

Back to the ending. Yeah, right, almost 40,000 people would agree not to form a city? To scatter about an alien planet and to abandon all their technology, medicines and what comforts they have left? Warriors and scientists turned farmers and hunters?

And Adama, finishing up a heroic life by building a cabin, living in isolation? Just him and a grave site? Too sad, pathetic and unrealistic for Adama.

Okay, critiques of my assessment may now flow.

Although I understand your point, I respectfully disagree. You can still be outdoors and maintain your technology.

What about Hera? That was a weak tie in.

Caprica and now The Plan.

I will have to keep an eye out for these.

Any idea on release dates?

The modern BSG isn't really a spin off. It's a remake, but it's a real human drama, not so much a sci fi. It's 100000 times better than the original show (which is so cheesy it's laughable).

The cylons create human look alikes..so there are thousands of Boomers. I wish this technology was possible so I could have one.
Yea, I find this show has the best drama on television. They don't even need the sci-fi action sequences to appeal, that's only icing on the cake.
