Thought someone might be able to recommend a company to do my bathroom reno.

I am not familiar with construction at all.
I am looking to upgrade my condos bathroom to something newer. 13 year old bathroom.

Any advice, how long does it take, ballpark costs?

Basically I want to get rid of my tub entirely, and have just a small shower.
New Sink/toilet and the floor redone

Yeah getting rid of the tub is iffy.
I hate the tub. I dont have room for a bigger tub, and I am almost 6'8" so its actually never been used.
But yeah I guess ladies want a tub. I was thinking of a really cool shower though. With overhead nozzles, the works.
I have no plans to sell in the next 10-15 years. Of course that can change quick.

I have a buddy that works at home depot, so will get things at a decent price, if I shop through them.
I wont have to any plumbing, just keep things where they are.

I am really just concerned about labour. And how long it would take, being the only bathroom would mean I wouldn't even be able to pee in my own home for a few days.

Its amazing the variation in price between some toilets and sinks, had no idea that range was that huge.

just a thought...you stated you are in a condo
better check with the strata
you will probably have to use a licensed contractor, pull the necessary permits etc. just
to avoid any liabilities in the future. imagine if you did it with friends, best of intentions, and
a water leak developed and flooded your neighbors...guess who pays for any damage.

anyone who has experienced water damage in a home and the insurance companies get involved.
happened to a friend, new hot water tank failed, almost thought the restoration company became a tenant
because they were there for months

Sage advise. I had a rogue plumber screw up one of my toilets last year and it caused all sorts of damage. Cost me am months pooning to pay for it. The bastard!

Two words.

Heated Tile.

Look at Nuheat mats or wire kits. Not a huge expense, but it sure is nice in the winter to get out of the shower to a nice warm floor. If you're doing tile, I would seriously consider it.

As for toilets, I like the Toto's. Look at the Drake. Also, consider the "right height" models. they are about 2" taller. Nice that it is not as far sitting down and getting up.

Not all low flush toilets work well. Many take 2-3 flushes to clear. Whatever model you choose, look it up in the MAP testing and see how it rates.
