Sorry to disappoint you but I do NOT patronize nightclubs, lounges, and/or bars.
I don't think anyone will be disappointed.

I'm curious though, you don't patronize escorts either....so what the fuck are you doing here?

Do you just enjoy patronizing us, because you are nothing but an offensive and condescending idiot.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about. I need a translator, please.

To me, a nightclub or a lounge is a place where people drink to get wasted and I do not respect people who drink and make stupid decisions when they're drunk (e.g. driving, one-night stand and the woman ends up pregnant). I have absolutely NO respect for people who do those things.

How many sexes (genders) are there? Male and female. Is there a third? Transsexual?
just my two bits... not everyone that goes to the bar/lounges/nightclubs, whatever you want to call them... gets wasted, has one-night stands and end up pregnant!! lol Some people, such as myself, actually go to enjoy a night out on the town with their closest friends, see new faces, meet new people, check out new venues, and to listen to some great tunes!

If anyone has any bar/club they would like info on feel free to PM me.
I think I've been a doorman at almost every bar in Edmonton or Calgary at some point in time...

Lillith is NOT going to be impressed........
Actually I'm trying to persuade Spermie to meet her, I think his problem is nothing more than lack of sex.
I know I get very grumpy when I go without for a few days, I can only imagine how crazy I would be if I went as long as Spermie.
I'm worried about him, maybe tough love isn't the best approach, but I sure don't want him getting sweet on me!

So it was the club's fault that you washed off the stamp? Or that you left your wallet inside the club?

BUT . . . BUT if I had been a young sexy girl instead, then that fucktarded motherfucker would have let me in with nary the blink of an eye.
Oh for fuck sake! You are such an uptight, antisocial, no fun, depressing pain in the ass it's no wonder the doorman didn't let you back in.....stamp or not!

I never have these problems. The last time I was at a bar there was an upstairs and downstairs, separate cover charges for each. I talked and joked and flirted with the girl taking the money, bullshitted with the doorman and security guys, discussed the evenings entertainment and listened to advice from a few people and decided to pay for the downstairs act, a bluesy rock band from Manitoba. Got my hand stamp and went in.

Once inside I made friends with the bartender, told her my name and got hers, ordered my drink, flirted and bantered some more, gave her a tip and found a place to sit. It was near the back so I had opportunity to speak with the person running the lights and sound, learned about the band, heard about a special guest who was having a birthday and watched the band get ready. There was a single good looking girl sitting at the table in front of me and 2 cougars at the table next to me, the rest of the bar was a mix of couples and groups. I talked to a few people, but not the girls as I got the sense they were after something in particular. I was having fun.

I am a smoker so I made several trips in and out that night. My first time outside I met a few people that seemed down on their luck. Dirty bums most would call them, but they seemed nice so I shared some smokes and gave them a few bucks. I talked with them too and was friendly, smoked a joint at my truck which worried me a little but they were more likely to watch it for me than steal anything. Unfortunately they were just too needy, I mean every time I came out for a smoke they were hitting me up for more money or whatever. I got them some pizza and tried my best to be kind but firm. Sadly, by the end of the night I decided to walk the long way around the block to my truck to avoid saying goodbye.

Anyway, the doormen and security never once asked to see my stamp. They knew who I was and simple eye contact was all that was needed. In fact the front door girl let me go upstairs to check out the heavy rock band and didn't charge me anything. The bartender always had a drink ready for me and I didn't have to worry about losing my seat. The band downstairs was really good, a female singer with a smoky, sexy voice and they played mostly original music that was impressive to me, I enjoyed them quite a bit. The birthday boy was the brother of the drummer so it was a great party. They sang a rendition of "This old man, he played two" that was hilarious, erotic and just good fun. I had a great night, I always have fun.

Fun is what you make it Spermie, try not to be such a party pooper.

So you've been permanently mentally damaged by an incident that happened years ago, at one bar, and you are therefore rampantly against any bar or any people who go out drinking? It is not healthy or even normal to hang on to such rage over so small an incident, for so long. Nor to project that irrational level of anger onto anything besides the one bar and the one doorman. Years later and you are posting enormous red letters to express your rage over something that happened years ago. I am not sure whether I should feel sorry for you and thus tell you to start seeing a mental health professional to help you get over whatever it is that causes you to hold onto such rage, or to (figuratively) slap you on the side of the head and tell you to grow the fuck up.

I have never been to Edmonton so I have no advice to give regarding bars and clubs in that city .

I would however say from personal experience as a general rule stay away from any bar or club that advertises that that night they are giving away "free money " or " free alcohol samples" .

almost every time It has not happened that often I have run into someone who has been physically aggressive Ie wanting to fight me. Or people trying to take my clothing money etc . The advertising of a free cash or free drinks giveaway .Has been the common connection
Think it has a tendency to draw to the bar or club a certain desperate element of society

Also I am from Winnipeg and we have socials which are much more fun :D

I don't think it's open yet: http://blushlounge.com/. There's also a Facebook page, which says they'll open in mid-Nov.

Ivory Club is now downtown where Overtime used to be. I went in there once and it was full of rednecks in suits - think more stereo shop salesmen, not white-collar professional. I left soon after some people got into a brawl.
