banned forever

I just got home from work and tried to log into Erslist and it says my IP address has been banned: forever.

Gosh, that seems quite dramatic! I wonder what on earth I did to warrant that?

I paused to wonder if my pictures were too vulgar or perhaps I forgot to put an ibid on a quote?

Has anyone else experienced this? I would ask Krusty, but, he has been banned forever.

I don't see that as being helpful, considering she would be using it to place ads, and fairly obvious a new user placing ads as laurel is the same laurel who got banned, new IP or not.

Ok, I figured it out!

I was surfing through a guest handle with parental controls. I have no trouble getting in through my administrator account.

Live and learn eh? the guest handle is prefabricated so it has all the controls preset.

I can get in here ok, and Vancity, just not erslist so I wondered if erslist has a parental control thingy that speaks to the parental control thingies on other peoples computers and blocks them

....and even though I got great marks in University, this is my best 'computer speak'....
