i don't mind all the Christmas stuff so much now, but I hate being force fed it on November 1rst. At the very least, wait until after Remembrance Day. The thing thatgets me is when the radio stations play almost, exclusively Christmas songs. idon't minda few mixed in, but again with the force feeding. Just ride it out until January, things will normalize.
I wouldn't be surprised if you hated xmas as you have lived through a lot of them, the only time you see your brother is on your birthday when he visits you to try and kill you, and you don't even remember half your life...

This is a magical time of year! I love it!!
When I was a kid it was magical, now it is a over-commercial time. What do you expect when you deal with a Fat old man that hangs out with a bunch of elves.
The only thing sad about Christmas is so many lonely people. It's hard to feel the spirit when you're all alone surrounded by a million people who appear to be having a wonderful time. If that's you, you might want to visit a shelter or an old folks home or a hospital and give someone who has less than you a reason to feel in some small way connected. If that doesn't cheer you up, eat a lot of chocolate ;-)

It's a nice time of year because this is when there is Egg Nog in the milk section, and people plug in the lights outside their windows and houses. Both of these things I would like to have all year long lol
