Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.

Yes, LOL!
That's like me saying that I did a survey and determined that Jethro Bodine is the handsomest, most virile, stud on this site and has the biggest cock.
Although my survey would be true. ;)
They are doing everything they can to skew the public's opinion despite the fact that pretty much every other poll out there is predicting a Conservative majority based on the polling numbers right now. They know that when the Conservatives win the next election (notice how I said when, not if) they are going to lose a large chunk of their funding that keeps their little country club going. I mean what other news organization needs 4 fucking anchors to read the news every night! And of course 2 have to be women and the other 2 men who are visible minorities.

Cheers

Same same at every level of government. We have 8 candidates running for Winnipeg mayor, yet only two get any real coverage. And out of the two it is clear the media has a biased opinion.

I do wonder if the pollsters took into account that a year from now a significant percentage of Trudeau supporters will likely be too stoned to get out of their lounge chair, let alone drive, to get to a polling station. Unless of course the Conservatives promise to repeal the legalization of pot, in which case all bets are off :)

BTW, on another site, someone suggested that if you are a Liberal supporter, you should send $$$ to help fund Max's campaign. It is a funny thought, and might actually work if enough people do so.

Sad thing about the CBC is that it was great at one time.
It really was an arm's length semi independent organisation that did good work.

Now it is non stop humourless virtue signalling. Every news program has an article about how the natives are wronged, one about immigrants, one about some handicapped person who is owed something. They go on and on about cultural appropriation, with Halloween they are having a bonanza.
Instead of actual news they talk about "feelings". Example: car crash. Anyone else would say car hit car at x street and y road, end of story. CBC goes around the neighbourhood asking people how they "feel" about the accident.

Saturdays are good. The House is very good, Quirks and Quarks is very good.

Motkaluk is another Katz. Developers looting the city and taxpayers getting fucked over royally. This city is run by developers, for the benefit of developers.
Motkaluk pretends to be upset about taxes but if she gets in watch out.

Anyone upset about the bailout of the stadium? $78 million out the fucking window!
You fucked up on construction...what would you do if the builder fucked up the roof on your house?
You sure wouldn't hand him a few million and say don't worry about it.

The police hq will cost EVERY man woman and child in Manitoba $300 minimum. That is just one project.
Katz gave Shindleman a brokerage fee in the millions...but Shindleman had nothing to do with the deal. WTF

I love the instant dismissal of the CBC poll numbers by the Trudeau/Liberal haters - maybe read the methodology used - it's an aggregate of other poll results. Personally, I haven't seen any recent poll results that have the Conservatives leading, so I would be interested in having that claim supported.

My own opinion is that the Conservative party has returned to, and will continue to be under Sheer, more of a Reform Party with a strong regional base in Alberta and Saskatchewan, just like the makeup of our current parliament. Sheer himself has no charisma and no name recognition with non-polticos which will be difficult to overcome in a year.

In the next election Baby Boomers will be displaced by millennials as the largest elgible voter cohort and Trudeau, for better or worse, has instant name recognition and for young people, who don't really care about politics and the economy, the politics of inclusion, pot legalization and climate change policy are far sexier and more appealing topics.

I'm not getting any feeling of love from my surroundings for liberals, and I am not really political or around particular type or people which would lead to any particular political leaning or bias. So at least around where I live and work, I don't think Liberals are doing well at all.

Strange.. I saw the same news on Global yesterday.
Forum Research poll predicts that the Convervatives would win.

https://torontosun.com/news/national/tory-majority-if-federal-election-held-today-poll-says

Same with an Angus Reid poll.

http://brianlilley.com/poll-shows-trudeaus-liberals-would-be-wiped-out-west-of-quebec/

Polls are not accurate.

If the Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick Provincial elections are any indicators, the Liberals could be wiped off the map.

I for one could do without Trudeau paying out millions to known terrorists, vacationing around the world and deficit spending like a drunken sailor when the economy is in a relatively good position.

A quick google search led me to wikipedias list of poll results of support for the federal parties and the Liberals led the Conservatives in 10 of the 13 national polls conducted since mid-September. I am not commenting on their accuracy or methodology just that it adds credibility to the CBC's assessment.

The Sun chain is fanatically anti liberal and pro conservative
Lilley looks pretty right wing as well.

That said, I think there will be big generational changes in voter's attitudes and interests.

Many young people have little hope of the same standard of living as their parents. We now have a "gig economy" where people go from one temp job to another, with little security and few benefits. So social programs will be more important to them.

Many young people are more interested in the outside world. They may have immediate family in foreign countries or be in refugee situations.

Most see the mess the world and Canada are in and think about how it will be in fifty years.

All the Liberals now have to do is the scare tactic that the PC/Conservatives will make pot illegal again; and they never have to worry about another election.....

I'm not so sure. Like I posted earlier, I wonder if the pot heads will even have the motivation to get out of their chair, let alone make it to the a voting booth lol.
