Agreed. That's a whole different game. It's an eye opener, conversation starter, she is pretty much throwing the gauntlet right there.

Most of the ladies use these pet names when I book with them and it is pretty standard lingo.

Beyond the fact that the use of “babe, hun, sweetie” is annoying and impersonal, is the logistical reason these terms (or similar ones) should never be used by an SP: if I get a text from anyone with “hi babe” as the first two words and someone sees it that shouldn’t, I’m in hot water. Not everyone has a burner phone and all SPs should be aware of this - it should be part of SP training in the Discretion Module. I mention this fact politely to every SP who uses “babe/hun” and almost always they understand and stop using the terms.

Should we use "Fair Maiden" and "Madame" instead of Hun? In all seriousness though, I'm probably guilty if starting conversation with "Hi Hun" over text, though I tend to use to "Hi there", to start more these days.

I have to say I hate it , it almost makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when a stranger texts
“Hey babe “
“Hi sweetie “
“Hey hun”
But that’s “if” I’ve never met you .

After we’ve met if you find me yummy & have a pet name for me I’m all over it , I guess it just comes off insincere from a stranger .

Myself , I never address a man as hun , sweetie or babe until we’ve met & I understand his personality and if he’d find that appealing. Again I feel insincere to call someone “sweetheart “ until we’ve met .

If an SW calls me "babe" in a text, I don't worry about it. If she's the kind to just call people that in general, I don't think much of it.
Might be awkward coming from a waitress or barista but that's happened to me too.
I'm indifferent to it; it's pretty mild. It's really not on the same level as casually calling someone "stud" or "sugar tits" or something.
