I noticed alot of local sp's in the last few years have up & moved to Alberta.I know there is big demand for sp's with the oil industry workers.But they must be making double or more to move up to the cold i bet! Just curious on this one any intell? Thanks people.

not really up on the scene, i have one or two ladies that are my favorites, so i don't really pay attention
just, a thought on my part don't know if its true.
girls have alot of problems with us guys, i mean we get attached to them, we think we own them we stalk them not all of us guys,
but in my experiance with my own sp, or just reading the posts, its pretty common that a girl has a bad client in that he stalks her, trys to control her manipulate her hassle her, etc.
and i suspect, if a girl is single as in no family or stuff to hold her to a place,
the simpliest way to deal with a over aggressive client is to pick up and leave
i was looking at some ads which i haven't done forawhile, but my sp is, out of it for awhile, so i was browsing through some ads wandering what is in my future.
i saw this sps ad i saw her once like five years ago, then she moved on, i enjoyed her company but that is beside the fact,
she was coming back to town, i was or am thinking about booking with her so i just did some research latest reviews or comments i know i said i don't read reviews but i was curious not about what she put out, i saw her, i knew,
just curious what she was up to

It's simple really, if your only getting 1 call a week here in Victoria,whats the point in staying if you can't make your rent? Alberta, things are booming a lot more than they are here, so you go where the money is.
Having said that,i think things are gonna pick up here in Vic over the next year,so maybe there will be some new talent popping up around here

Wow, Seven...where did this come from? Nothing at all to do with BC Sp's moving to Alberta. Interesting.
I agree. Edmonton has quite a few SPs for a city of its size, so competition can be pretty tough. The money is better in Calgary but LE is more strict too, so again there is a trade off. The money is probably best up in Fort Mac, but then again you have to think about cost of living and amenities too.
Not trying to talk anyone out of it, as pretty SPs are always welcome here, but I would suggest doing a business trip here first and get an idea of the scene before committing to a move.
P.S. Are lots of SPs really locating from BC to AB? I haven't heard of many to be honest.
Jaimie Laine from Victoria and few from the CL days i noticed have moved to Alberta also.I know SandiLaine is in town but i read she is in Edmonton mostly? Go where the cash is! However i cant see it being "slow" in the lowermainland.
I know of an SP who was having a hard time making it in Victoria. She started to travel back east, with stops in Calgary and Edmonton. She told me that even with the cost of travel, she could still make far more money in other cities than sitting in Victoria. I believe she may have settled in Edmonton and my have gone into MP management.
I think with PERB, if you are in a smaller market, and your reviews are kind of so-so, your customer base may dry up. However, if you have good reviews, even in a small market, you can build up a good base of regular customers.....

and i don't know the stats, but i think its common that girls get bad clients.
aggessive controlling stalking, etc,
and if your single with no roots, well, its easy to just get up and move.
my two long term escorts, both have had bad clients one moved to get away from him,
and my present sp i think she wishes she could, but she has roots here. she has some one stalking her at present.
alot of ladies like i said eventually get bad clients that hassle them and stalk them to some extent.

However in Alberta most touring ladies skip Edmonton and prefer Calgary. Sort of understand the appeal of Calgary but some rural areas get more touring visits than Edmonton. Still no shortage of quality ladies residing and visiting Edmonton but Calgary has to be one of the busiest cities around.
