B.C. Lions 2009...

[hunsperger]

did anybody notice the Lions are 1 - 4...

I do have to say the retro jerseys are great...

unfortunately they also have one of their retro win/loss records...

[Willingham]

I am convinced that Wally Buono is clueless.

[hunsperger]

...

He's gonna be the winningest coach in CFL history very soon

at the rate he is going should happen some time early next year...

Willingham is correct to some degree...

a man who when he looks back when it is all said and done, will say he should have won more Grey Cups with the talent he has had in both Calgary and BC...

I am an avid Lions fan. I think that we had a slight hope that Buono was going to bring in some break-through players. But I think that the talent drain was just too much to overcome. It seems like every week there are former Lions making big plays against us. I think it is just going to be a long season. Every franchise and fan has to endure them sometimes. We have had a good run over the last few years.

Personally, I think we will never be a great team until we change our quarterback situation. and we need to get our offensive and defensive lines back to where they have been the last few years. I wouldn't mine seeing us pick Tyrone Williams back up.

Its going to be a rebuilding year for the lions for sure this year.
That's fine with me, we have had an incredible team for the last few years.

It is clear that Pierce is not the solution at QB, neither is Jackson.
Try out some new guys. Hell give Printers a shot.

But who cares if the team is bad. Its a great time at Lion games.
Its nice and cheap, and always a fun crowd. A great place to go have some beers on a Friday night.

You win and lose with your offensive line....period!

If they pass protect and run block well, then you can control the game. If they don't, it leads to an ineffective offence (which generally has more turnovers) and a tired defence that is out on the field more then it should be.
