I'm not calling you a meanie TJ, I read through the thread and what I saw was a girl open a thread to advertise and she gets jumped on about rates,As well as being hijacked. There have been some things pointed out that are true, which is don't give to many specials. What ever she had to do to make money at the time when she was charging $75, was something she had to do at that time, We all know this job is feast or famine. 75% of the ladies are giving specials this month and probably next as well,,taxes, after christmas etc,,, But the phones will ring off the hook again once spring fever hits Just my observation,,I've considered being a paid advertiser on here,,but eek, will I stir up chit?,,,HOLLY

You and me both! I thought we had finally reached a consensus a while back that the ladies can set their pricing wherever they want, and pooners can choose to pay them or not. The market will ultimately prevail. That applies to both high and low pricing. If a lady wants to offer a special for whatever reason, it's entirely her decision.westwoody said:

We should know what type and quality of service a lady provides and be content with what she thinks the service is worth. If not, then move on to another one. Do you go stomping into Best Buy or Future Shop demanding to buy some fancy piece of electronic equipment at the special price they had a couple of weeks ago? Of course not. Having been on PERB for some time now I am constantly amazed at how frequent any post will be hijacked, become some little pissing match, or become a debate about rates, as is the case here.
1) Give the kid a break. I have never met Lindsay but her reviews are quite good. All she did was advertise her availability this weekend. Then somebody (we are all familiar with this person's credibility from their past posts and questions) immediately asks for a special rate. That's just Bad manners. Like any provider of a service, it is up to her to set her own prices. If she wants to have a special then why not. It is RUDE to ask for a special if none is advertised.
2) We all know the going rates in Winnipeg. This constant debate is tiring and childish. It's a "Pay for Play" business. If you don't want to Pay then don't Play. It's that simple. Stop whining and get lost!
Let's try to stick to honest, reliable reviews and stop this other nonsense.
I pesonally think that Mod should give some of you a bit of a time-out, like my 9 year old gets when he misbehaves.

Because I have been alittle bored this weekend, I am sure the Mods will close this thread.
Modicus already warned that Lindsay not to post advertising in the Winnipeg forum. I wonder if Wpg could just look now and then in the Ad forum, and then all this nonsense, and arguing would not have even happened
