This GAUGE needs recalibrating...
It is amazing how some things get twisted around to make people look good. It is also amazing how certain young performers have absolutely no respect, no manners, and an extensive vocabulary which contains words not ordinarily used in everyday pleasantries.
This is in regards to the Tampa Show (
www.tampashow.com ) which I am involved with in many aspects (including booking and hand-picking the stars who are invited to this invitational annual event).
It starts out with comments on KSEX and a few web sites that Alexis Amore flaked in regards to the upcoming Tampa Show. She did NOT flake; her brand new contract with Video Team caused a scheduling conflict and, out of respect for Christian Mann, we gracefully allowed her to bow out of her contract with us to appear at the Tampa Show. I repeat - she did not flake.
With the show less than 1 week away and hearing that we had one paid plane ticket to fill now that Alexis was no longer available, Mark Perry took it upon himself and contacted Gauge, who agreed to go to this 13th annual series of events scheduled for October 6-11, 2005.
To be honest, Gauge was nothing more than a last-minute fill-in. I still remember how, recently in Ohio, Gauge let some personal beef with one of the Flynts cause her to flake on her fans who came to see her at Hustler Hollywood Ohio. She stayed in the office and pouted rather than meet her fans at this scheduled store signing. Still, we had one plane seat to fill, so grudgingly, I agreed - I assumed that she may still have some lingering name value despite her long hiatus from the business. I thought I was doing her a favor, actually.
I should have listened to my instincts. We initially had problems contacting her to finalize the plane tickets. Then she tells us that she may be flying out of Arkansas instead of LA - which would involve a totally new ticket from Arkansas and do nothing to fill the open paid-for ticket from LA. Tracy Allen in Tampa was taking care of these details, and told her that, since we said she could attend, if she had to fly out of Arkansas instead of LA we would still reimburse her for the Arkansas ticket (if that was her city of origin for the flight) even though that would cost us more and not fill the vacant LA seat.
The way we work it for everyone is simple: we pay for the plane and room for the female stars. Two people per room. If they want to bring someone with them to room with, that is fine - but they have to pay for the extra people's room and flight. This is fair and it has worked fine this way for 13 years and hundreds of stars.
Then it starts. Without going into too many details (which can be read on other sites) and embarrassing Gauge even further, a few things have to be said. This event is booked up solid in advance - the people are advertised for months. Asking her to fill in for Alexis Amore (something a lot of performers would consider an honor) apparently struck a bad chord when she realized she wasn't our first choice. As paraphrased on another site, Gauge said on the phone Tuesday to Tracy "...You just called me that I was convenient and you had one extra seat open. You were just going to throw me second best behind Alexis Amore. I told her with the boyfriend-thing, who's going to take my Polaroids? Who's going to watch my fucking merchandise when I'm off talking to a fan and some dumb yahoo goes to steal my movies or something? Allen told me we have great security. We have the finest reputation and security people. Well, you know lady? I don't fuckin' trust anybody. I said you know what? I'm going to think about whether I want to come to Tampa or not since I'm second best. In the mean time why don't you think about not reproducing. I hung up. I was, like, fuckin' bitch."
Incredible.
Also, "Gauge said what irritates her the most is the fact that's advertised the fact that she was going and is now going to let her fans down." Uhh, Gauge, you were never advertised - you were a last-minute addition, remember? I think I had your name listed on the site for less than 24 hours. If that long. Along this same line she said, "..."What's going to happen when the fans come up and go where's Gauge at? Oh, she's just one of those flakey bitches. Is that what you're going to say, Tracy? She's, like, I would never say anything like that. I said, you know what? You're a lying bitch. My fans are going to know I didn't flake out on them. I don't want my fans to think I bailed out and am one of these bitches that changes my mind every ten seconds." Gosh. Now why would anyone think that?
And then Gauge adds that "...I also told Tracy to go and have fun with all the fat, nasty bitches that are going to be there. Half them bitches have tities hanging down to their ankles. I don't give a fuck. "
Really? This description got me wondering, and a quick look at who is coming really confused me. Lets see. Some people have no respect. And yes, I pulled her name from the site - she will not be welcome at the Tampa Show. Ever.
