@the Meat Market!!!lol
The Vancouver Police are warning sex workers about an attempted abduction which happened at Cambie and West Cordova;

There is limited info, a white hatchback with three males. They tried to pull the victim into the car but she escaped via an Uber that she had pre-arranged. Limited description on the car and the males.

Driver – no description

Passenger 1 – white male, 30s, short brown hair, 1 inch beard

Passenger 2 – white male, 30-40, 6’2, medium athletic build, stubble and scars on face.

The more disturbing part is that once this report came out, I received 2 more reports of similar attempts on other occassions, in different locations and with different descriptions of the criminals.

So, please be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Keep you focus on what is happening around you and don't stand too close to a curb where you could easily be grabbed and pulled into a vehicle.

All of the reporting women escaped.

I’m very happy to hear about women escaping but I get chills whenever I wonder if there’s others who didn’t
Especially considering the dark figure of crime, most crimes go unreported 😢
Different vehicles, different predators, all doing the same thing, trying to abduct women off the street at night. This is extremely disturbing. Wtf is going on in this city 😭

That's terrifying... imagine the ones who don't get as lucky... and how much human trafficking does not get publicly reported to avoid public fear... That's disgusting. These women are just trying to earn an honest living. Working the street sounds akin to being deployed to a war zone in the middle east.

I would suggest tucking an airtag into an insole or something and having a friend be able to track it just in case. Better yet, two air tags, one also in the purse.

As I recall, this was a sex worker who escaped but you are right it should go out to all women....the police work hard on sex worker safety however and when they contact me it is to communicate with sex workers...hope that makes sense!

One thing I'm going to add is that I'm less concerned about the likes of this guy, who I think should have the missing women cases reopened. We all know the Pictons, we know to stay away. It's the unknowns and it's the grifters who were even labeled heroes. Marc Emery is a perfect example, prince of pot, used his position and popularity to groom under aged girls, and sadly faced no consequences. Some of these victims are still speaking up and have never seen justice. I believe at least one of the young ladies was found overdosed. It's this guy that's scarier, because what else is he going to get away with?
