Attaching jpg's to my post

It seems the max size is 1.0 kb whereas my pic I want to show is 36kb.

Is this a hardcoded limit or can we increase the maximum size somehow?

Yaeh, what's the point of having a 1.0 KB limit? Who's going to post a pic that small.

Please tell us how it can be done from a hard drive, we all want to know if it can be done!

OK. My attachment did work but it is so small, I don't see the point of even having it.

Is there no way to attach a larger picture? I have some non sexual pics that I might like to attach from my hard drive but can't. Threads like the car one earlier, I wanted to post a pick of my car but could not. I could go thru hoops of uploading to a website then attaching that way but that seems a bit redundant.

Any suggestions?
