to go back to school in Sept :)

Really looking forward to it but not looking forward to loosing all my free time! It's a pretty damn heavy program I'm taking...no more sleeping in on weekends, I'll have to do homework!

Will be strange to go back after 3 years out...anyone done that before?

~Katlyn~

p.s. I know I'll get this question so: rest assured I will still take appointments but availability will not be as wide

Hey, good for you!!!!

I did it after 10 years. Went back full time, plus worked 50 hours/week. You can do it!!! Good luck!

I did it after about 3 years after I moved to Vancouver. Went to SFU and finished my degree. Turned out they would only allow 2 years of transfer courses, so I lost a year.

At the end it was crazy as I was going full out, taking courses all year, and working. During the last seminar I took 6 courses which I believe was about 18 credits, otherwise I would have had to take another seminar to finish it off. Damn chemistry class almost torpedoed me.

Excellent move - good for all of you ! I graduated from university over fifteen years ago and periodically I would look over the continuing education programs. There always seemed to be a good reason why not to do it. Finally a couple of years ago I took the plunge and enrolled in a program, going to classes one night a week back at the same university that I graduated from. Best thing I did in a long time. It is so refreshing to be among people who are doing something constructive with their lives even if it is for only one night a week. I am way happier and more upbeat than I was before. When I hear colleagues at work gripe about generally everything in their lives but refuse to do anything about it, I cringe at the thought that I probably sounded like them at one time.

it's going to be an insane schedule...I'm not going into a university program. I'm apprenticing with someone in an artistic field and then taking night classes at various schools. M-Tu-W my schedule is going to be 8am-1pm then 5pm-11pm yikes!

But ya, I am really looking forward to it :D
