if there was some truth to it, i can understand, but in this case
it's funny that you identify one asain stereotype and then start another one. Ya know, there are some Asian's out there who are fairly well adjusted human beings.
Seems like every white college kid I know is out there selling dope and partying all night.....

i went to highschool and college in the valley, and 95% of the asian people i meet (especially the dudes) just party all night and do drugs.
All the asians I know, work lots of hours, pump whores, and eat out a lot...
I guess we hang with different asians...
All the whites I know, have a drinking problem, money management problems, and/or relationship difficulties...
Places like Money Mart exist, due to dumb whites that work in construction, making 60+ K a year, yet can't read a book...

how does a stereotype exist when there is no ounce of truth to it? i've lived in metro van for 15 years and I have yet to meet an asian person who fits that "nerd" stereotype.
every stereotype has an ounce of truth to it, the only problem is that truth is often exagerrated and displayed on everyone else in that group. (i.e. common stereotype = Canadians love beer and hockey).

Come meet my Asian friends! Or, for that matter, 90% of my graduating class. (Okay, not ALL of the Asian kids were nerdy, but the majority definitely was!)
I have tons of Asian friends, and a few of them are the drug dealing party animals you were talking about them, but I know way more who are nerdy and study all night and whatever.
I think it depends on who you hang out with or who you know.

They sell drugs so that they can pay for a car that's above their means so they can put all those little fucking ugly toys that chinamen put on on their dashboards.
Asians are loaded with $$$$....... Just go inside a casino and watch them gamble in high roller table.

well Vancouver would be a lot more affordable! those crazy businessmen who invest insane amounts of money on real estate etc, (whether they're asian or not) have made this City way too expensive for what it really is.

Thats good if you owned real estate. But if you don't, I can see why your whinning. If Vancouver is too expensive, move down to HOPE. Thats life baby. Play with the game. If it collaspe, then it be a great time to buy real estate. So save your money and wait for it to collaspe. Or jump in and enjoy the ride. Pick one.
Real Estate value goes up, more tax for Revenue Canada which pump more walfare for drug addicts and low income family. Now I'm sterotyping drug addicts as "Walfare People". hahahaha...LOL In all its create a stable society. Play with the game ........

A stereotype may contain a "kernel of truth," but this kernel becomes exaggerated and rigidly applied to the entire group.......all i gatta say is their is sterotypes for a reason so deal with it and dont be such a little girl ! every group of people have them and for a good reason ! .....An exaggerated image of the characteristics of a particular group ! so sterotypes are mostly true just not in the negative way we use them or exaggerate them to be....this thread pisses ppl off cuz alot of people are closed minded fcks....so this thread is fucking stupid in my opinion....sure you can say everyone has their own opinion so im just saying mine
