Universities limit the amount of white males that can attend to a small percentage. They do this by setting aside percentages of enrollment for "minorities" and for women. This, too, is outright racist bullshit.

And try to set aside a bursary for white males, and see what happens.

and yes just because we live in a system that has historically and continues to discriminate against minorities does not mean minorities cannot succeed. It is rarer though because of things like residential schools, ghettoisation, difficulties in having access to or being recognised in academic settings, and a lack of role models to aspire to emulate. Things are changing slowly and I can’t imagine people who don’t look forward to more diverse, equal representation everywhere. To disagree with wanting that is simply saying you prefer whiteness and that’s *jazz hands* racist.

There are a lot of good arguments here but really, I doubt that an SP would turn down customers due to race unless it meant that it might be harmful for her. While I don't necessarily agree or disagree with affirmative action (another can of worms), I don't agree that trying to "even out" injustices is the right logic to take. Two wrongs don't make a right.

To those crying about this "systemic oppression against white males": biases are incredibly, incredibly difficult to measure. Racial quotas fill a best effort to undo these biases. Are they perfect? Hardly, but they are a starting point.

Calling black people blacks is racist??? If it was 1950 I would refer to blacks the same way Martin Luther King did, which was a neutral term that is no longer in favor. A term, BTW, no different than Caucasian or Asian, until idiot activists made it otherwise.

As an experiment ( and you can repeat this yourself) I entered the term "no black" into the search engine on Leolist Vancouver. For TODAY and only today, it returned 85 separate profiles. And the day is not over. The SP's were Caucasian, mixed, Asian, Hispanic, East Indian and black. Around 20% black. Do you really think all these SP are racist, or are there some other experiences they have had that cause them to set boundaries this way?

Are you sure you want to start talking about statistics? You will be very unhappy with the results if you went down that path.

I'm not sure who your post is directed at, but I certainly never suggested anything like what you are stating. But since you doubt an SP would turn down customers because of race, maybe you can hazard an explanation as to why the 85 SP's on leolist in Vancouver today have "No Blacks" in their ads. Including at least 20 black SP's.

And open racial hostility towards white people is everywhere in Canada, and codified into law. See Section 15.2 of the Constitution, or the Employment Equity Act. Or that fatuous idiot Assistant PM Chrystia Freeland trying to have white people declared a Global Threat at the UN. Or the aforementioned discrimination against white people in education, hiring, and open hostility to white history.

As was discussed with Miss Hunter above, even though grants and bursaries are available everywhere SPECIFICALLY for non white people, try to start a grant specifically for white people, and let me know the results.

Then tell me against that there is no open discrimination and oppression of white people in Canada.

Ok.....first of all, blankets intentionally laced with the Small Pox virus is complete bullshit.
In the time your speaking of, they didn’t understand how Viruses spread, they thought it was from bad air....they did understand that close proximity to an infected person may have made you sick.
The blankets where manufactured in Europe, and it took 6 to 8 weeks to sail them over.
If you think about it, the virus would have to be obtained here in North America, which wouldn’t have been hard to find.....but the people handling the blankets would have to occupy a village, or individual that was infected, then transport the blankets carrying the virus by wagon, to another population.....without being infected themselves, ( they where not immune btw) ....and surviving week long wagon rides, while carrying the infection laced wool product.

The fact is that infected blankets are most likely a myth, and the Small Pox virus was transferred by the Traders themselves....to a population who‘s genetics couldn’t even begin to fight the infection.

There was absolutely no understanding in the Colonial era, how viruses transmitted within populations....
The First Nations had an efficient system when it came to trading, and wool blankets where a valuable commodity....the myth is that they where intentionally infected as a biological weapon to depopulate.....yet if you talk to historians here in the interior, you can track the Small Pox trail and decimation via Native Trading routes, and into areas that no Caucasian trader had yet been.

Unfortunately for the Indians, the men in sick bay and the people who had recently died all died of smallpox. So in carrying the scalps back to their camp the Indians brought live smallpox with them, and killed half their tribe.

It wasn't just the British who were disgusted by this savage behavior, (including eating their enemy) the French troops refused to fight alongside their "allies" any longer. Without a thick skin, this line of work would have destroyed me years ago. This industry can be quite gritty at times. The root of the reason why I feel freedom of choice is so important. Everyones story and experiences are different. Just let the SPs run their business in whichever way works for them.
