I sense as you age, you may change your handle to Angrier Anderson.
Kittens make me smile....
Neil Young is a kind of misnomer. His music always made me feel old. Dirges to slash your wrists to....
Kind of like Kid Rock. He isn't and he doesn't.

Kittens make our local coyotes smile too. Well, I guess it's more like lick their chops.

As for Neil Young, as he has aged he has gotten rather smug and holier-than-thou. Voice hasn't improved either.

I of course have improved with age. I am now a perfect curmudgeon.

I enjoy sitting down with the memories of elders....most have shed their grey areas, and see things in black and white, like they don’t have enough time left for the bullshit.
They are full of stories of the old days, wars, sacrifices, good and hard times, seen through the wisdom of time.
I believe.....they should be treasured, respected, and honoured, before that time comes when the wind will no longer shuffle the cards in their minds.

Interesting that he wrote both of these songs approx. 50 years ago at what he probably thought was the ripe old age of 25.

Yea he cornered the market in depressing music early. Too bad he didn't kick it at the ripe old age of 25. One quote of his I liked actually was a live performance of Cowgirl in the sand where he was introducing the song. "It starts out kind of slow and quiet and then fizzles out altogether...."
