What I have been exposed to at hearings across Canada defies imagination. A stacked panel of witnesses, comprised largely of prostitutes and prostitution activists, speaks to a largely sympathetic committee on how "the sex trade" operates in a dangerous "workplace" and should be subject to the same health and safety regulations as any other occupation.
