I was hoping for a Denver win, but expecting a blowout by Carolina.

Newton is definitely big and talented, but he's lacking maturity (and maybe guts, not wanting to jump on that loose ball), and leadership.

He's great when everything's going well, but doesn't seem to handle adversity. That might come, or he may just have been exposed by a strong defence.
