Worked for me as I was dying in the latter part of my 2nd marriage and was clocking in close to 245lbs, about 50 over where I should have been, no desire to fix any of it, generally feeling pretty shitty.

Put on your favourite playlist, some decent phones, a mask since we have so much smoke and get out and walk the neighbourhood. 30 minutes minimum, every day. Try to make it to 10,000 steps a day. Cut back on portion size. All portions. If you are a dairy consumer, cut it back, same as bread ( I went cold turkey and its hard but do it ). Cut out the sugar and empty calories. Go as much plant based as you can in your diet. NO snacking after 8pm. Try to extend the fast for 14 hours. Sleep. Get a solid sleep. If you don't have a good mattress, invest in one. Did I note get a good sleep? and hydrate. A Lot!

Notice in all this the only real exercise I noted is walking?

I can almost guarantee everyone will drop weight if you follow this and you will have a lot of energy. You will feel the difference in a couple weeks. See the difference within 6 weeks and in a few months people will be saying, geez man you look good. Botox? Hair transplant? oh I know, you are getting laid regularly!!

Then you can start working on muscle tone and even that does not take a lot. Get a new wardrobe and the babes will be on you like flies on honey!

I lost 20lbs by cutting out, sugar, diary, wheat, packaged food and doing light exercise.

My blood pressure is now normal and off the meds.

Not to toot my own horn but an SP mentioned I have a body of a 20 year old.

It was tough at first to cut all the fast foods especially when my co-workers are eating it every day for lunch.

Give it a try for a few months and see what happens.

In my early 60's my Doc hasn't weighed me in more than a decade at annual physicals, I asked why.... he said you look exactly the same every year. I'm not one of those fight club bodies nor a skinny guy.... more like husky... but I look fit. No meds except vit b12, meditator, moderate drinker and moderate pot smoker. Walk and use light weights. No processed food.

Positive attitude...... folks seem to be drawn to that more than anything else.

Peace

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
I'm not as much body conscious as health conscious. By that, I mean I have alwasy tried to eat healthy and exercise but more for health reasons than looking good in my Speedo.
I'm not saying I'm in the gym daily and eating nothing but broccolli and kale. I take time off and eat chips and drink beer but all in moderation.
The side effect of eating right and working out regularly is a decent physique.
But I have also come to undertand that as I age there are certain things you just have to accept as natural changes in your body/physique that go along with pushing 60.
As for the women in my life I try not to judge solely on looks but again a healthy lifestyle, which I apprecaite, lends itself to a leaner figure.

Cheers

In my own experience, eating healthy works better than exercise alone to lose unhealthy weight and lose my belly. I minimized added sugar intake, reduced consumption on rice, pasta and bread. I still drink but mainly hard liquor instead of beer or wine. Absolutely no soft drink or packaged snacks. This type of diet plus strength training has worked quite well for me without completely cutting out the food I enjoy.

With that being said, a professional SP shouldn't judge or shame a client's looks or body shape. I agree with many of you who have said it's most important for the client to be clean and respectful. We may have different reasons to see a SP. No matter what the reasons are, the last thing we want is to feel worse about ourselves than before the session.
