I'm in a 649 pool at work and a Super 7 too. We only do it if the pot is over 10M. I thought about not doing it but it is kind of a trap. Since very often these things get won by people who do it as a group, I would feel like a real dumbass if I suddenly quit and we won.
I baught 4.00 this draw and hit two numbers and a bonus so got 5.00. So basically won 1.00 which isnt too bad.
