I saw Candyce Cummings on Victoria and KW few nights ago around 11pm. She was active on Leolist and her rates were quite high but bow she’s working off the streets
I saw her in the same area over a year ago while she was still active on Leo’s list… But her crazy pimp was nearby

Didn’t notice her pimp when i saw her although i was not looking around. She was looking good and had a red jacket on. I wish i had picked her up as she is known for her good bj skills

Yeah, there was a great SW thread going on but unfortunately they shut it down. There's still talent out there from fraser and kw to Vic and kw, near the old quality inn. Some new faces out there, Also seen a couple of new faces downtown but Im always cruising the kw strip. PM me if you wanna know more , I'm still cruising and its sure a lot of fun out there. Did a whole bunch of incalls and took a break from cruising the past year but a few nice gals out there for sure
where do we find street walkers in downtown

High track was once used in the 90's. It was the downtown core area of Richards/Seymour and y'all remember that cafe shop on Helmcken st? lol. Also by Main and 2nd area back in the days. Damn those were helluva alot of fun and the selection was incredible
Yep, mostly Im not glad Im old (over 60) but the one nice part of it is being around for the late 80s/early 90s heyday of the SW scene. Actually, I;m old enough for the original hightrack Georgia from Seymour to burrard. Then it moved throughout the West End residential area (which was awesome for me, having lived in the West End since 1983) THEN to Seymour Richards when they were kicked out of the West End. Then that was supplemented by the track along Quebec (one block west of Main) from ya 2nd until maybe 7th. Some stunners along there. Absolute stunners. More mileage and better attitude than the Seymour/Richards girls often. Ah memories. I often wonder what became of some of the Quebec street girls I saw. Had a few regulars along there........Sigh.........

Ah the memories.
When I first moved to Vancouver I was in a basement suite off the China Creek park. The old Velodrome (where King Edward Campus is now) was still there and there were none of the mid to high rises. Different city entirely. The lads I hung with and I delighted in that West Georgia stroll, then of course the action by Richards on Richards where Madame Cleos and the Penthouse were in full swing. As was the hey day of the Drake, the Mar, the Arches and the fantastic strip club scene we had here. Then the injunctions came and pushed the SW's into Mount Pleasant. There were a few regulars that worked Great Northern Way, wonderful for me as I would have an evening run, pass by a great looking gal, ask if she wanted to meet me in an hour or so at my apartment, then I'd finish my run, have a shower and a date with yet another delectable woman.
Great times for a young fella!!

Where is old Hatrick when you need a street update?
A PERB legend!!! I do miss some of the old perb posters. Hatrick, BJHunter (even though he was VERY repititive) and a bunch of other regulars whose handles I don't remember. Board used to be much more entertaining. Lots of characters posting "back in the day" :)

Much like everything in this city it's changed or changing and not necessarily for the better. The wealthy areas are only getting wealthier and the DTES is in the worst shape I've ever seen.

Happy holidays all!
Merry Christmas to you too, buddy. Yeah, the DTES is getting worse now, since tent city has expanded throughout that area

The recent VPD study shows one million dollars per day going into the DTES. The report was savaged by various agencies but no one provided any facts what so ever -- like what they do with their budget. Don't blame the folk who work every day, pay the taxes for all of society, thenpay their own bills and get by. Ask the agencies who get the dough why its not any better.
Oh, and don't blame the folks down there either

1 mil is alot per day, by the time that money gets where its suppose to be, its all in their pocket first. Paid trips, bonuses and who knows what else. The government does have money and capability to provide homes for the homeless, but they just won't do it. It's so sad because it's the folks down there that are paying for it

The government does not have the kind of money you think they have for the homeless. Are the homeless deserving of our hard earn dollars.
This is a universal issue everywhere. We are always trying to help the ones that refuse to help themselves.

The last time i checked, about ten years ago, the City of Vancouver levied at 360K developement charge against every new strata lot in the city. That's right, per strata lot. Surrey was about 68K. So in Van, having to pay 360K before shovels go in the ground goes a long way to explaining why housing is unaffordable.

Logically, a 35 story building with six tiny apartments per floor generates 73.5 Million dollars in fees.(6*35 =210 *350,000 =73,500,000$) Where does that tax money go? What good comes out of it? Sorry, the gov is awash is cash, but makes poor choices or can't generate outcomes. You and me pay the bill but nothing gets better. Much more accurate to say the gov gets fatter and the poor get poorer.

Out of curiosity, and obviously there is going to be a range, but what are the SW typically charging for full service in a car? I saw one comment that said $140, but I am curious what others have to say about it...

No, $120-140 was the price 20 years ago when I started this. Unless you are picking up from the low track you are looking at least $200 and closer to $250. In my experience, and there are exceptions, car service is generally rushed, cramped, and not worth the expense. Always watching over your shoulder for cops, etc. There is very little foreplay, and as soon as you pop, it's pretty much over. It's incredibly rare to go two rounds in a car. Plus there are the bodily fluids which often get everywhere, lack of cleaning facilities, and in those cramped quarters it's pretty hard to find the best positions. Don't get me wrong, I've had sex in my car hundreds of times, it's just infinitely better on a bed. The cops know all the spots where people "park". I was caught twice, 20 years ago, but they did nothing, not even take any info from me. I'm sure they got my license plate though.

Been there done that . It was okay when I was in my 20's ,no big deal climbing into the back seat but now that I'm in my 60's ,It's tough just getting in and out of the car.
