I don't think any hotel wants to be known as 'SP friendly' for a variety of reasons.

All hotels realize that this activity goes on, and as long as you are not drawing attention to yourself, and your suitors are not creating any issues for other guests, you will probably be fine.

Dress appropriately in public areas, ensure your guests are not wandering around or lost, don't entertain late at night, don't have a revolving door, don't ever try to pick people up in the lobby, bar etc., and be polite and respectful to all staff. That includes keeping your room tidy and tipping house keeping well ever day.

It's also a good idea to be friendly with, and to tip the door men well on a daily basis.

You may be able to find a room as low as $200/night, but Vancouver is an expensive city, and many rooms are closer to $400-$500/night

I would suggest that if you want to work out of a hotel, you probably want a mid level hotel. Places like the Four Seasons, Fairmont and Pan Pacific are wonderful, and if you are only seeing one or two guests a day, will likely be just fine. However, the customer service is so attentive in these places that they will know what is going on, even with just a couple guests a day, so you need to be comfortable with them knowing, and secure enough in knowing you conduct yourself appropriately that they will not have an issue with you staying there.

Precisely. As ever, well expressed.
