Does anyone else find I-N unreliable? I'm not talking about the "quality" of girls or what she will or won't do. I'm talking about plain old showing up.

I booked an appointment with Mila, around three weeks ago. Everything was cool and then I got called for work...Panama here I come (fuck) , so I had to cancel with Mila. So I sent them an e-mail and they let me know it was OK and would not affect future business. At the time I thought that was cool, but then what happened? Did she show up on her days scheduled, not according to my e-mail (to the uninitiated..I-N sends out e-mails announcing girls arrival). If she was in Calgary I would expect a review and an e-mail about how great my life would be if I saw her.But NOTHING...did she show. I don't wanna bitch too bad because I cancelled on her but I was just wondering if the other guys that had spots booked got screwed (not in the good way) by I-N. Did they get a replacement and what was the explanation. Anyways, I gotta get out of this hole and get on a plane back to C town.

P.S- SHIPS FUCKING SUCK HAIRY BAG

I would also like it if some fellas would tell about unreliable SP or Indy and what happened. NOT from like 2 or 3 years ago but from recently. Did you wait for them to respond and they didn't. Did you wait 2 weeks for an e-mail .

By the way that is the worst, in my experience maybe half of the women actually answer their e-mail within a week. The other half just never write. I understand its there choice but doesn't being an entrepreneur come into the equation at some point.

If you ignore a guy long enough he will go away, but he will tell everyone else negative things about your response time, and maybe your customer base will erode.

I know if at my job, which charges similar hourly rates if we did not respond for two weeks and then showed up like the customer should be glad I'm there , the company I work for would not be in business very long.

I know the supply side rules but if I decided to stiff some customer then about 10 million barrels of oil or a bunch of shit from China would never get here. It's junk anyway.

tdcalgary...

You have to keep in mind that a lot of indies have lives of their own outside of escorting, some of them travel outside quite a bit with their clients and some of them have a stable client base that they don't feel the need to add any new clients.

I won't mention names as it is not polite and everyone should know and look from the SP's perspective.

Regarding what you said about IN, it has happened. IN announces a girl coming to town, but then cancelling the tour. A reason will be not enough appointments or too many cancelled appointments or no-shows.

It's the same situation with other out-of-town escorts visiting Calgary. They cancel and move their tour to a later date when they don't have enough appointments to make it worthwhile.

IN and Others

Well, IN can certainly be frustrating, especially when you have booked a hottie and they cancel. To be fair to the organizers, IN has usually gotten back to me quickly once I have booked a appointment on their site and although it is a bummer they have also been fairly good at having cancellations not at the last minute - sometimes with alternative available.
Overall IN has been about as reliable, and is some cases more so, than the local based SPs, especially the 'new ones' that seem to come and go, or don't even exist.
I'll continue to use IN both in YYC and if I am able to travel to Montreal - check out their home page - heck of a duo available.

Two cents

My experiences with I-N have been pretty positive. They've been responsive to any issues - particularly Nick whose service managed to persuade me to see the some of the girls when I've been undecided. I've got to agree with Johnny that I-N has proven to be more reliable than some of the local indy's.

I consult for a number of companies in the oil patch, and one of my guiding principles is that service comes first. Irrespective of how good business is and how many clients an enterprise has, you always want to treat potential customers with respect this applies to their time as well. You never know when the business landscape is going to change and if you are going to be on the lookout for new business - either to replace lost business or to grow your business.

I can understand someone not wanting to take on new business, in fact I urge my clients not to take on more clients than they can handle comfortably. In those cases a good business practice is to gently decline the business stating your reasons and perhaps suggest an alternative - even if it is a competitor, provided that they are reputable. This goes a long way towards conveying what a classy act you are. Who knows your competition may also return the favor one day.

At a minimum, acknowledging a request and refusing politely is just common courtesy. How hard is it to reflect when you are out of town or busy? Most of us who use email regularly at work must be exposed to the idea of an out of office agent - an automated reply that says so and so is out of the office for such a duration and that they will get back to the sender upon return.... All it takes is a little forethought and consideration.

Just ignoring new business in the hope they will quit bothering you works - better than you think. Just imagine your reaction to a restaurant whose hostess ignores you repeatedly while you are standing in line trying to get in. I'd be willing to step out on a limb to say you would probably raise a little hell, or in the least never give that restaurant your business ever again. Will you tell your friends about that 'bitch' of a hostess? I'd say there's a pretty good possibility of that happening too.

If on the other hand the hostess had taken a moment to tell you that they were sorry that they could not fit you in that day but would love to give you a small discount the next time you came back think of the difference that would have made.

Unfortunately, common courtesy is not all that common. Fortunately this does provide you with an opportunity to separate the corn from the chafe in terms of who provides superior service and who provides poor service. One often sees reviews saying what a nice person the provider was and how much they enjoyed the time they spent with the SP in addition to the fun and games. How the SP or Indy treats people before they get to see him/her is probably a good indicator of the kind of service you will receive once you get in the door.

I would say get to know the person and go with your gut instinct that way you know what you are getting into.
