Are some of the hotels on to us?

I wondering if the hotels we are enjoying meeting traveling SP's at are on to our activities. I know the ladies tip cleaning staff for extra towels and things like that, and I believed the hotels just looked the other way to get the revenue, so I was surprised by what happened yesterday.

Booked Nikita from GOE yesterday. Thanks, BTW to GOE for understanding the mess in the end. I arrive early as usual, call the 5 mins prior. Everything is cool as GOE will call back when she is ready. I walk to the lobby at the appointment start time and I get this call from GOE:

"The cleaning staff is right outside her door. We'll call when it is clear"

This is the 3rd time this has happened to me at this airport hotel. Yes I use the same time because that is when I can get away, so this might be legitimately when they clean. I am standing in the lobby when I get the call back. I now try to look casual, but I must look fidgety or something. Like most hobbyists, discretion is king. Absolute king. I constantly am checking to make sure I don't recognize anybody etc.

After about 10 minutes I am fidgeting with my smart phone and my other phone rings. At the exact same second I look up and a hotel manager is asking if I need assistance. I am standing with a phone in each hand like a drug dealer and must look like a kid caught in a lie. I have never been approached by hotel staff ever! I mutter an excuse about my "friend" actually parking out front and leave. I feel I can't walk back in now and call to GOE to say that I have to cancel.

Did I stand out? Do they "clean" to cause a hassle for the SP? I know one SP told me that a hotel suggested that she "please find more suitable accommodation (in other words, don't come back here)" for her next trip to Winnipeg. I know Korean Jenny was chased out of one hotel dowtown. Is this why the Asian agencies are using Condos?

I am concerned for discretion. Traveling SP's used to be an fairly infrequent event, maybe two or three traveling. There can easily be a dozen or more these days at any given time. Hotel staff aren't stupid. Are we much more exposed that we think we are?

I wonder if others are feeling the same way, or did I just wake up to what everybody else already knew?

Thanks again to GOE for understanding.

All hotels have camera's in the hallways so I would think they know whats going on if one room is getting a lot of male activity. The same thing happen to me where I was approached by a staff member and I said I was interviewing for a job with an out of province company.

I have a "guy" who says the hotels have been getting some calls from our men in blue. Sort of a community service phone call, as we all know they monitor the boards. They have been informed , on how some hotels are being used for functions that may not fit their establishments policies, and that they should be more "watchfull".

Max, I normally do wait in the car. I was on my way in because the appointment time had arrived and I thought GOE was calling to give the OK. I think I was just caught off guard and must have looked guilty or something. I was wondering if maybe the cleaners are showing up in front of certain doors to make life uncomfortable for SP and clients. C'est la vie!

Yes I felt dorkish. I normally do exactly as you described. Straight to the elevator, onward and upward. I got derailed from my routine and probably appeared suspicious as hell. Next time, stay in the car until completely verified. Also a good suggestion to sit in the bar for a minute or two. Thanks everyone for comments and suggestions!

The biggest thing is to just feel & act normal, as if your just suppose to be there. At the end of the day guess what hotel staff and management really don't care why your there. I've been up to ten minutes early just walked in sat in the lobby, made some calls, sent some e-mails and then went up to the room at the appropriate time. No one gave me a second glance haha

The fix is inside the law to request receivers of this service rent their own rooms ($96-178 or so) and book away. ABSOLUTELY nothing illegal about it. A SP providing could be booked with running a brothel, even in a hotel room, based on our city by-laws... This would, of course, require an overhaul of the industry. In short, a location would have to be set up, as a private residence, where traveling and local SP's could provide their service, with no profits going to the homeowner. In short, one would have to set up a hotel and turn a blind eye. Or open up their condo and rent in to any Wpg resident or visitor, not an SP. Nothing illegal about having sex in a room that someone else held for you. So let's sum up: I could rent a room in my place, or my name, rent a hotel room in my name, and provide a space for an SP. As long as I do not profit, nor does she not charge $$$ for sex, nothing illegal is going on. I think I just pissed off agencies across Canada...

What's the big deal? When I see a GOE lady, I call after I've parked at the hotel no more than five minutes before the appointment time. They tell me the room number, I enter the lobby and take the elevator up. If I need to kill two or three minutes, I sit in the lobby and relax. Nobody from the hotel staff gives a shit.

Personally I'm not a fan of the hotel thing so I've seen very few travelling girls or locals who use them. Limits my options for sure.

I have to agree with Avery, as long as you are relaxed, and not causing a fuss, the hotel really doesn't give a shit. I sit in hotel lobby's all the time when traveling to Toronto / Montreal waiting for escorts, sometimes for as much as 30 mins when their late, and it's never been a problem. I've done the same in Winnipeg as well, and usually just hang out in the lobby, sometimes chatting to the hotel staff. If you look the part, and are casual, they don't really care. It's none of there business who you are seeing regardless, and as far as your there concerned, your waiting for a friend to arrive who's running late.

Downtown hotels have been changing their policies lately and don't allow you to go up to a room without a desk person or security guard. (In some cases they don't let you go up at all, the girl has to come down and get you.) It's getting ridiculous.

How would the hotel distinguish a guest vs. a traditional customer and enforce that policy? Surely they would not escort every guest to their room, or ask every guest to present ID to "pass".

That being said, if hotel's require keys to access the elevator's... completely different story... but in said case, the provider should brief you on this prior to arrival regardless, and I would assume, they would stop using these hotel's for business.

I don't get out much and I know nothing of hotel policies, but aren't people who rent rooms allowed as many visitors as they like? Does it matter if a lady has 10 guys a day coming to her room, unless they have a hidden camera in the room, how do they know what you are doing. Maybe she is a Yahtzee champion and is taking on all comers.

I've never had a problem. As long as you look like you're supposed to be there, they won't question you...

Simple: The elevators are card activated now and you can't get to any floors without it now.
