right behind you!
Like PuntMeister says! I have had one for years, love it!

It even has advantages if you fly inside Canada (at major airports) as the nexus lane gets you by security faster. If you have nexus, you can get pre-check and global entry in the US. If you have pre check, (for those still printing boarding passes it will be on your ticket), that gets you by security faster, with out having to remove your shoes, and belt.

Having said that now Amex & Visa have special lanes at security also(at some airports) , and in the US there is Clear

I don't have Clear, but from hearing about it... those who travel a lot would all want this> https://www.clearme.com/how-it-works
I know they even have Clear set up at pro sports stadiums. https://www.clearme.com/sports some businesses use it also..... Hertz...

Nexus is very worthwhile if you travel through any airport in North America, when I first applied the wait period was about 5 months, applied again near the expiration date of the original, and the wait was about 3 months for renewal.
When travelling through a land crossing, anyone in the vehicle with you must also have a Nexus card in order to use the Nexus lane.

Had one for years. I live in White Rock and it is almost closer to go to Blaine for gas than it is to go local. We also had our iris scanned so going through the border at the airport is a breeze. Never had an issue. I renewed this year and it went through quick and easy.

with the current regime, I have no desire to travel to the usa. Have not been there for many years and I will not take a flight that stops in the usa on route.

cost is $50 for 5 years which is dirt cheap. as others have said gets you tsa precheck in the states for free. clear is expensive. never waited more then 10 minutes in a security line in any US airport I've flown out of (Seattle, Chicago, San Diego, Orlando, etc.) don't have the iris thing because i never fly out of yvr. i'm right on the border so seatac is my goto airport. flights cheaper in the states. land crossing is a breeze. there are times that i have been waved through with no questions. most times they just ask if you have anything to declare and that's it. as long as you follow the rules they treat you well. in 5 years of nexus i have never been sent to secondary on either side. as well i thought renewal would take awhile (my card was to expire in june), so i did the online renewal in december. in 3 days my renewal was approved (not months, days) and the following week, a new card arrived in the mail with a 2025 expiry date. no interview required.

Just because there’s a moron in the White House shouldn’t deter you from visiting there.

I’m on my second Nexus card, it’s not really intrusive. As another poster mentioned, you’re not providing anything they don’t already know about you.

The application and interview were simple. I just renewed and no interview was required. I've been able to make flights i would have missed because airport security was backed up out the doors. For me it just makes everything about flight travel easier and don't we all want a little more of that?

I applied for one in August and got pre approved in Dec just had my interview a few weeks ago and should get my card anytime. Both Canadian and US boarded agents asked to confirm name/address, ever charged for any crimes and why I wanted it.... told them to avoid long lines ups as that the truth. Picture and hand scan was simple. It’s worth the. $50USD to avoid hour plus lines ups.
