I agree with you completely. I also see encounters with SW as kind of disrespectful to non Sw providers and fellow pooners, sure you get off for cheap, but you start to expose others to MUCH higher risks as well. If the SP we see are careful, and we're careful it can all be spoiled by one guy trying to get $20 FS from somebody sharing needles

Seriously, dudes, isn't there a quantum leap between streetwalkers and the truly independent SPs? Perhaps I'm just lying to myself, but part of the fantasy on my end is knowing that:

1) I'm not involved with someone who is being forced to do what she is doing by someone else;
2) I'm giving my money to someone who gets the full benefit of my money;
3) That if I adhere to numbers one and two, I'm not contributing to the ruination of a human being just to get off.

I know you can't be absolutely sure, but anyone working the street is doing it out of desperation, to provide money to an abusive, controlling force in their lives, or to satisfy an addiction of some sort. Or both.

I'm quite frankly surprised some of the opinion leaders on this site didn't provide the smack down a lot earlier to those who think any streetwalker "really seemed to like what she was doing."

Or maybe I'm just a deluded hypocrite.

Like you, I just don't get it at all. There are no upsides to picking up a street girl. In addition to the downsides you mentioned, the pooner is putting himself at risk of getting busted and having his car seized, getting mugged or worse, and catching something contagious and very nasty.

Maybe that's the appeal - some people get off on taking big risks. However, I'll stick to the indies and the ladies who work in one of the parlours. When I do that, I don't feel like I'm exploiting or abusing anyone, and the risk is within my tolerance level.

In Halifax everyone walks around. Not many massage parlors there from what I saw, but there was an area where some good looking, clean looking girls were willing to take a guy behind a building for some fun. Decided to accept the offer from a real cutie, about 20. Four greens, covered bj, then she bent over lifted up her skirt and took it doggie until the payload was delivered! Took awhile but it was a good experience ...different! Easy to watch (standing up) for anyone coming, plus my buddy played lookout on the street.
Sort of similar to AB-Cowboy, but felt safer in Halifax than I would in the 'peg.

My buddies and I used to do "hooker runs" after we left the bar about 10-15 years ago - we never partook in the festivities, but it made for some great scenery. A lot of hotties out there back then...

Nowadays I would never dare picking up a SW - way too much at risk, and considering some of the neighborhoods they frequent, no thanks. I don't like driving down those streets in the daytime, never mind night...

I would much rather have an incall with an SP - much less risk if you do your research...

Seriously, dudes, cruising for street walkers? Doesn't the unique combination of legal risks, disease, substance abuse, sexual exploitation, psychological distress and social-economic disfunction do something to your libido? Put all of them together, and I'm completely limp.
I'll say it again - the hobby is a morally ambiguous kind of thing for a lot of reasons. One of the only ways I can rationalize it is spending time with smart, independent, entrepreneurially motivated women who work for themselves, or in cooperation with others of similar mind, to make them as rich and comfortable as they deserve to be.
Everyone has their rationalization. I like to think I'm making my SPs rich and happy, not helping them survive another day on the streets. But that's just me.

I've always been fascinated by street sex but too chicken to try it. The closest I've come is on "The Block" in Baltimore. Imagine having sex inside a strip club in the USA with absolutely no fear of being busted. An unusual place for sure.

VIP room can be a ripoff though ...depends on who you go in there with. Be wary.
Some want pay up front, with lots of teasing and promises of giving you a mind-blowing experience and you end up with just more teasing. Some of the ladies can really handle their liquor and still use that pole in the VIP room like a pro!! Too bad they don't hold their licker as well!
