I thought Fox's Wayward Pines was by far the best TV series in years. Not too much about it in the press, it seemed to have everything going for it from supernatural to drama to thriller. I'm not sure if a season 2 would ever top it.

So perb people missed out on something that was just as good as LOST with a bang up final.

Really looking foward to FX's Fargo this October.
With Hollywood turning out so many bad movies, TV dramas are often better than films.

Watched ep 1 and was intrigued. Didn't see the rest, but I would do it in a binge! Terrence Howard was really good in it!

Loved it!!

I've had a crush on Matt Damen for decades!

Did you know this mini-series was filmed in Harrison Hotsprings.?! A good friend of mine was there for months working on set design/construction. When they first started the advertising campaign it was promoted as a 13 part mini-series, so I'm a little confused about the "season finale." I'm hoping they come back with at least 3 more episodes! Another season would be nice too.

I believe it was written by M. Night Shamalan which makes sense to me. Definitely worth a watch!!

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Can there be a Season 2 based on the ending? To those that saw it, would you be interested in it continuing? I liked the way the last episode ended because it reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode and how they used to end.

Not sure if anyone currently on the cast can replace lead character Matt Dillion if there is a season 2, so many stars were killed off- Terrence Howard, Juliette Lewis, the guy who played David Pilcher deserved more credit than he got. From what I saw the young teens who are the 2nd generation had no one that could lead the show. You're right it ended up like a Twilight Zone episode and while many online panned the ending as having no real ending I thought it was perfect.

Based on the Wayward Pines trilogy by Blake Crouch who also had a hand in writing all the episodes.
M. Night Shamalan has executive producer credit for 5 episodes; director credit for 1 episode.

The finale was a big reset - everything is essentially back to the way it was in the beginning - with the son taking over for the father.
This puts them in uncharted territory beyond the canon of the books.
Season 2 will be without the big star power (except when they need a ratings boost and then they can thaw someone out).

I am pretty sure the both of you are confusing Matt Damon and Matt Dillon with Matt Leblanc or is it Mel Blanc the voice of Pepe Le Pew? Certainly all the girls had a crush on Pepe :)
