How pathetic that the city can't open a new massage parlor. I guess our city fathers are content leaving working girls in disgusting cesspools like Moonlight and Broadway. Seriously, those places are a health hazard. Don't they know sex trade workers without good massage parlors to work at are less safe? Compared to cities like Montreal, Winnipeg's sex trade is almost medieval.
This place on King might be related to ad that appeared on CL (or was it BP?) a couple of months ago, looking for trainees for a new "tantric release" place on King. Gotta be the same place.

Ya, the only one I've heard about was on King..then the article in the Freep a few weeks later. They seem to believe it's a legit studio that has to be zoned at a massage parlour as it's downtown.
I'm guessing that's the game the owners have to play. Once it's open it's pretty hard to prove what goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults. Sucks that the place is being forced to close by 7pm, though, as a condition of the licence.
On returning from a trip to a couple of larger cities it is a reminder of how pathetic the adult entertainment scene has become in Winnipeg. I am sure there are people that are proud of that but the truth of the matter is that large look at things to do as part of the criteria of where they hold there comventions while u wont find any to admit it they know the boys like to play, as long as winnipeg keeps maintaining there farm town attitude they will continue to lose ground to cities like Toronto and Edmonton
