Anyone else hooked on Californication?

I watched it when it was in first run on Movie Central and really enjoyed the show. But I have to admit that I felt extremely let down by the last episode. It just felt like such an easy, cop out kind of ending to what had been a really solid show until then. I don't know if it's coming back for another season. If it does, I would give it the benefit of the doubt and watch again but I would hope that it went back to being what I liked so much originally and not go the route suggested by that last episode's ending.

Yup I have no idea how they plan on going after that ridiculous last episode but hopefully they'll kill off the annoying daughter before she sings again.

The whole series is available on shaw vod at the moment. Definitely worth uninterrupted viewing.

The last scene I assumed was one of Hank's fantasy moments and unfortunately the second season got caught up in the writers' strike so the delay has been extensive, hopefully it won't have lost too much edge when it reappears.

Super Cool and Funny

Californication is really cool and funny to watch. Nice Venice Beach setting. Like HBO's Entourage, its the closest thing to what really happens in the movie and literary world from a writer's perpective. In both shows, its the agent that brings most of the goofiness. Natascha dresses well, has that real OC look, and is damn hot.

Funniest episode for me was the threesome with his agent.

David Dunchovy is on a roll. After his success in producing and starring in Californication comes the release of the X-Files movie. Not to mention being married to one of the most beautiful actresses ever, Tea Leoni.

With all those never ending reality shows coming out in Hollywood since Mark Burnett migrated to America, its really nice to see a cool show like Californication make it and get signed up for a second season.
