Or maybe they like him because he tells it as it is and isn't afraid to be "un-politically" correct. No different that people on here cutting other posters down when they state opinions. Only difference is, everyone here is hidden, whereas, he's visible in the flesh.
Like they say.... There is a market for everyone, but we here, are just watching from the stands. Just an opinion that wont change anything. Its just conversation. I'm neither left or right but my opinion is.... I say he takes office again this coming November. Again... Just my opinion.
He tells it like it is. Like Obama was born in Kenya, like Ivanka created 15M jobs, like Russia was helping Hilary get elected, that he has a healthcare plan that bigger and better but had no plan at all, that he was going to eliminate the deficit in 2 years, that China is paying billions in tariffs, that the coronavirus is under control and will disappear by April.
Guess it doesn't matter that everything he says is bullshit as long as he tells it like it is. Those who voted for him deserve what they got.

Stupid people like will Trump because he thinks and talks on their level, they can relate to each other. A Trump supporter is more likely to be uneducated and borderline illiterate. They like that he has a limited vocabulary and doesn't use "big" words they might have trouble understanding.
It's attitude like yours that helped him get elected in the first place. Congrats buddy

The problem with American politics now is that both the Democratic and Republican parties are very neo liberal. Both parties won't do a thing for the working class. If Biden gets elected, it will just be the same old corporate welfare that both parties love. 4 years of him will make people sick of him and another loud mouthed Republican like Trump will be elected again. And on goes the cycle. The system is so rotten that average people don't have a chance. Bernie Sanders was the most progressive candidate to run in recent years, but the establishment is scared of him. The Democrats rather have Trump for another 4 years because the establishment gets to keep their cushy jobs and they get to spend that time riding on Trump pretending to be the good guys. Trump isn't the disease. He is a symptom of a corrupted system. The reason he got elected was because average folk were getting sick of establishment politics and he was pretending to be the guy that will tear it all down. Turns out he's just the same as the rest of them when he gave the ultra rich a huge tax cut. Getting rid of Trump is only a band aid solution. The real solution is to overhaul the system completely and take big money out of politics, but we all know that will never happen. The Corona crisis really exposes how filthy the system really is. Corporations get bailed out and the working class fight for crumbs in the form of a $1200 one time payout. In 2008, Obama bailed out the big banks and in turn those guys took the money and bought back their stocks and got themselves nice bonuses. Again working class takes it in the nuts. All that money to the rich and nobody bats an eye. You mention Medicare for all, people scream "how do you pay for it". Doesn't matter if it's Obama, Bush, Trump or Clinton. Both parties don't give a rats ass about regular people. It's all for show if you actually believe them.

Many Bernie fans in 2016 said "Bernie Sanders, or nobody." And when Hillary won the Democratic nomination, many Democrats "simply didn't vote."
I don't know why people still believe this nonsense. Democratic voters didn't sit out in 2016. Voter turnout was slightly higher in 2016 than in 2012. Hillary got almost the same number of votes in 2016 as Obama did in 2012 (the difference is less than 65,000 votes). States like Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan made all the difference. In fact, those three States are the 6th, 7th and 8th most populous States (they combine for 50+ electoral votes). You have to go back to 1988, that's the last time the Dems lost all three in a presidential election. Obama won all three in 2012 and Hillary lost all three in 2016. Ohio is your classic swing state - you have to go back to the 1960's to find the last time Ohio didn't go the same way as the eventual presidential winner. And historically speaking, when the Dems don't carry Pennsylvania and Michigan specifically - the Dems are almost always in for a long night. So no, Dems didn't sit-out 2016 - swing voters did their thing, they swung. Turns out blue collar America (PA, OH and MI are all historically blue collar states) are rather important in presidential elections - hopefully Dems don't forget that in 2020!

But he's not wrong though. Trump is a narcissist and a megalomaniac. It's all about him or he blows up and starts calling people names like a little child.

I JUST personally don't see Biden as presidential material. VP yes. I actually have more faith in Trump handling the job, than Biden.
Bernie Sanders would have been the person in 2016 and 2020, if he could have just GOTTEN to the Democratic seat.
My sentiments, too.

Like many right here on this forum.
The amount of childish name calling, personal attacks, and personalities who think they are a god, is staggering.
I sometimes wonder if several forum members stopped maturing at about age 5.

Where in the case of trump, the media, and democrats twist whatever he says to fit their agenda.

There's no 'twist'ing necessary...there's ample audio/video of his exact words. (those that follow choose to believe him over their lying eyes/ears)

You obviously drank the koolaid and are blinded by the facts. None of the above need to twist what comes out of this idiots mouth. He admits to 90% of what is said in his briefings, by back peddling btw, and his briefings have now stopped, albeit probably temporary, because of his last rambling briefing about UV light and using disinfectant to control Covid-19. Poison control calls have spiked after Trump talks of disinfectant to fight coronavirus. And have you read his tweets. They are directly from him. So WTF are you talking about?

You should really see a therapist about your severe anger issues, and ease up on your consumption of the left wing kool-Aid!

classic deflection :) clearly 45's behavior is wholly indefensible, (other than I was joking/sarcastic) or there'd be a salient response citing facts/science. Can't he (or any of his followers) state unequivocally that injecting/huffing household cleaners or dropping UV lights down your throat dangerous? They're twisting themselves in knots trying to cover for him, and it's embarrassing to see grown-ups actually try.

I do not have any anger issues, only issues with the whole right wing, left wing crap, when the facts are the facts. You deny his tweets, he writes them. You deny his press conferences, he acknowledges them. You defend him mentioning perhaps disinfectants may help and 1000's of Americans listen to these absurd statements and actually try it, yet it is the media twisting this? If all you can say is fake news, and the media and democrats are twisting the truth, without providing a shred of evidence to the contrary, just makes you Don Quixote.
“If you can see something, and it is wrong, you can fight it with a reasonable chance of success. Fighting the nonexistent is worse than pointless: Don Quixote tilted at windmills, but at least windmills are real.”

At the end of the day : Facts are facts
Records of what he says are everywhere and if he misspeaks than he has simply to retract, clarify and apologies. As the leader of the most powerful country he should be clearer in his statements or let people with the proper knowledge take the stage .

But he can not help it as his need to take the stage to stay relevant and get the attention needed to maintain his base on his side ...as they don't keep track of his decisions or lack thereof and/or do not like to pay attention to his lack of policies, understaffing in critical positions, .....

Tiresome to hear the same excuse 3 years on that everything has to be blamed on Obama's administration or that he doesn't know or didn't how the government fonctions.

Oh How a Lincoln or a Teddy Roosevelt would have a field day

He hasn't done a press briefing since people made fun of him for his stupid disinfectant suggestions. Such a fucking pussy and the spectacle of Canadians embarrassing themselves by defending moron is shameful.

And when he's challenged on anything where he hadn't thought of a distraction, deflection or didn't
feel like attacking at that moment, he in a very solemn stately manner just says...........

(and I have no idea how many times he's said this;

no..... I don't take any responsibility for that, no....(while adjusting the microphone for the 10th time)

Has this leader of the greatest democracy in the freeworld ever taken responsibility for anything
except bragging about himself? Never, and that's who these supporters, support. :tsk::tsk::tsk:

I still can't understand why anyone would support ANY leader who takes no responsibility. There's no
leadership in non responsibility.

Agreed, it is embarrassing that Canadians are supporting him, and Trudeau isn't much better, but at least he is getting the help out there faster, and without the fucking sheer vanity of Trump HAVING to have his name put on those stimulus checks, what a fucking joke that is.

it doesn’t matter what canadians think about Trump. support him, really? how, you send him money? you vote for him? you live in the USA? who cares... there are NO americans that care about Trudeau, NONE, like we do Trump. survey 100 random americans and ask if they know justin trudeau...90% blank stare. who? we ought to be more concerned for the Tam/Trudeau late to the party by about two weeks every step of the way debacle...that’s WHO.
10M have applied for FREE benefits already, that’s 1/3 Canadians on EI or need CERB out of 36M which includes kids under 15 and NCH age population. 10M oh we will come after you. SURE YOU WILL...it’s called TAXES.
