Any Vancouver street scene left in July of 2024?

Is there anyone typically out and about, plying their trade on/near East Hastings or Cordova these days?

Anything similar ongoing near King George Highway in Surrey in July of 2024??

The ebb and flow of the true economy (the price of a loaf of bread, or a bucket of Haagen Dazs) may have an impact on such environs.

I've not been around the old haunts for a while but I am contemplating a return and would like to know in advance whether there are any possibilities out there in the present.

I wish I could take you all back to the Richards/Helmcken street scenes of the 1980's merely for the wonderful visions.

This biz is far more efficient in the present but the seeming blanket advertising done en masse with outdoor scenery back then imprints a far more vivid image of this biz than does anything online at present.

Lastly, is Vancouver LE paying any attention at all to those who might be out engaging in this commerce on a nightly basis?

Thanks to anyone who can offer up-to-date intel.

Might want to move this question to the Vancouver 411 section

What is happening on the streets of Vancouver in the years after Hatrick reigned supreme there?

Are "snatchlights" still selling like hotcakes?

Does "7-Eleven" still boast the best cup of joe?

Is the GTH even still alive??

Does the "Pussy Posse" still meet regularly to play pinochle ??

Is the "Poon Palace" still in business??

Beyond that, what is the current state of the nightlife in the region of Commercial to Main and Cordova to Venables?

Does anyone even have a "WOT" to report ?

Which is the best casino for bankrolling an evening's hat trick ???

Anyone with anything to report about the age old Vancouver street scene?

Is the game of cat and mouse with the local constabulary still ongoing each evening?

Are the darkened streets of Cordova and Franklin still ripe with prospects on a nightly basis?

Of course with yesterday having been "Welly Wednesday" (as Hatrick would say)... perhaps the scene is less rife with young delights.

What about Surrey? or the KGH there?

What we really need is another Hatrick to step up and make all information current.
