The odd touring girl will show up there from time to time...but as G-Brooks says it's a very small town.

Lots of people do...they pass through.Revelstoke is a shit hole and I know of what I speak from having lived there.The only way you get ahead is if you have a government job or are a professional such as a lawyer/doctor/dentist etc.
It was about 12 years ago an expansion went through for the ski hill and it was pushed hard by a dozen people and all sorts of BS rumors got thrown out about celebrities buying the condos and real estate prices went through the roof.The price
for a home in Revelstoke was on par with Calgary and then the market fell out.I would say maybe 40 people made some serious money at the expense of the rest of the populace because of how much real estate prices/rent shot to the moon.
Nice fat insiders deal where a select group of people made huge coin and everybody else got fucked over.
A good SP in Revelstoke is unlikely as she would be run out of town by the RCMP pretty quick.....there are plenty of bar sluts that will offer up every hole for a few lines of coke though.
Revelstoke....nice mountains and good fishing/hunting/hiking and general outdoors activity for sure.The cost of living is through the roof.Last time I stopped in there I brought my own steaks with me in a cooler which I bought at Costco.Had to get some potatoes
for the steaks so I went to Coopers.I looked at the pathetic steaks when I was there and a mangy half brown eye of the round steak was $12.
A friend of mine did a road trip to Calgary from Revelstoke with the sole mission of hitting Costco.He spent $1500 and loaded up on everything you can think of and all told it lasted him along with his GF and her 2 daughters 3 months.I asked how much it would have cost to buy the same in Revelstoke whilst knowing the quality would be sub par and he said it would have cost $4500.
A bit off topic but what can I say.I have lived in Revelstoke and yeah it is a shit hole.....only thing worse IMO is Williams Lake.
