Quality over quantity my friend. I'm perfectly happy with listening to my TOOL albums until they produce something new.

Never been a huge fan of them, to be honest. I'd like 'em a lot more if their songs were 2 minutes shorter...
Although Sober will forever be a favorite of mine....

I hear that, however, I'm so enchanted by their bass lines and Maynards voice that the songs seem short to me.

Hell I'd let Maynard fuck me! So long as he yelled the entire time! And I can't believe you didn't mention the drummer, he's fantastic (the guy from dream theatre is probably better but their singer stinks). I'm good with the time between albums even though it doesn't have as much to do with them perfecting their songs as it does with all the side projects they all have. But if that's what they need to do to keep it fresh for themselves I'm all for it. Love the song jerk off, second last song one 10000 days (with that weird solo drumline) and pretty much lateralus as a whole (which really is like 3 songs as there is hardly any actual breaks in the music)

I had never really listened to Death Angel much, but they put on a good show, so I will check out some of their tunes....
