Had to have been 18,000 people there for the sold out show at GM Place. Nobody sat for the entire time and when asked who was there for the first time, 90% of the crowd incuding myself raised their hands. Loved the festival floor tickets. Didn't see any problems around us anyways.
Good to see Bruce's Crue with mutli-generational attraction. I'd say that the majority of the people there weren't even born yet when Iron Maiden first started touring Vancouver in the early 80's.
With so many huge hits I knew they'd miss some but really paid for my scalped floor tickets to hear Aces High and Run to the Hills, neither of which they played.
I still don't understand why they amp it up so loud that you can't understand the lyrics but the audience sang each song like it was a two hour national anthem.
Great show nonetheless.
