Well, this might be a terrible idea but what's life without some adventure?

I unexpectedly have the next two weeks or so free and would like to go to Las Vegas for some fun and relaxation. None of my friends are available and I don't want to go alone. I'm looking for a sane and personable lady to accompany me for the trip. It won't be a long trip, just a few days. I'll take care of all the financials and we can discuss your compensation. Dude this is such a bad idea I have a hard time believing that it is a serious thread.

The US is fanatic about LE and obsessed with border security. There are stings and busts all the time down there for prostitution unlike here in Canada.

Walk yourself through the Customs (entry) interview, now fully integrated in real time with the databases of the NSA and other US LE agencies. You've had acouple drinks on the flight to LV and you're with a young lady who is obviously not your wife. You don't know it but you're dripping clues that you're with a prostitute, thus breaking state and maybe federal law. You're taken alone to an interrogation room where you're "interviewed" by a couple border security guys who have state of the art training in interview techniques, including telling you that your companion has already confessed and things will go a lot better for you if you do. Do you really want to risk having your lillywhite ass thrown into a Nevada state penetentiary?

The US is a bad place to hobby and crossing their borders with a paid companion is a bad idea. Ya, in the Kennedy to pre-9/11 era it would have been very alluring but times and attitudes have changed.

Dude, take the $5 grand that you were going to blow on the weekend and fly instead to Toronto or Montreal. Book yourself into an SP friendly hotel. Have a few incalls. A few outcalls. Become best friends with the booker at a reputable agency. For your next multierotic escapade try London, England.

First of all if you are going to LV from Vancouver you wouldn't have had a couple of drinks on the plane before clearing customs. You clear US customs at YVR. When doing that, you both approach as single travellers. If asked who you are traveling with, you say no one. I just need some time to myself. Not a problem except for the overly paranoid.

I'm no expert in law enforcement so perhaps you can educate me. It's my understanding they can only detain people if they suspect you've broken some law. I'm unclear how paying for someone's ticket to Las Vegas is illegal. In previous years I've traveled to Las Vegas with people who are not my wife (I'm not even married) without hassle. Some of my previous traveling companions have been women but I had no trouble at all getting through the border.

Like someone else mentioned, the easiest thing to do would be just to go as single travelers. We don't even have to be traveling as a "couple".

Again, if you can point out the specific law that I'd be breaking here, I would be most appreciative. Thanks!

Cross border travel is quite simple if you just think about what you are saying and what information is on your person. Always give suitable amount of information about your trip without saying you are traveling with an escort

The times I have done it was with an SP I have known for a while, knew her real name etc and essentially she was traveling alone although I was with her.

Going to Vegas for a few days is fun and you will have a great time. Taking an SP sure beats going to a trade conference and sitting in a bar by yourself at night.
