Any hotels in the Vancouver area offer "day" rates?

I just moved here from Montreal, and I am used to having decent quality motels offering a 4-hour rate; they call it a "nap time" rate; usually from $40 to $60 depending on options (like a whirlpool in the room).

I haven't seen anything like that here. Does it exist?

I've never seen rates that low (at least not for a decent hotel)

But I have gotten day rates (9-5 or noon-6) type things at most hotels for about half of their regular rates.

There aren't too many hotels in Vancouver with Hot tubs/whirl pools. You might want to try the Wedgewood. I know they have large tubs (I can't recall if they are jetted or not), and reasonable day rates (though I believe the day rate is about 129).

Try calling around, as some hotels will accomodate on shorter notice with better rates if they are slow.

Nap time in downtown Vancouver is considerably shorter and more expensive. Rates start around 125 (for 4/5 star hotels) but that's for 1 hour.
