If you got off your ass and got a job you could afford a new one.

Where in his post did he say that he is unemployed or that he couldn't afford a new tent?

Long live people who want to work for what they get instead of sitting on their asses in a public park.

It was obvious from his other posts that he is part of the occupy idiots. I doubt any of those clowns have real jobs or they wouldn't have time to sit around all day doing nothing.

Grow a brain please. This occupy movement is about there being NO JOBS. People go to school in whatever field then find out they can't find any jobs in that field. So they are forced to keep looking or get a low paying job at WalMart or McDonalds. Did you see the news footage of hundreds of people lined up for job interviews? You can't live off those wages.

The situation here in Canada is nowhere near like it is in the states.

If people aren't finding jobs after going through school, maybe they should have researched their chosen field before spending the time and money on that program. I know people who have trained to be History professors, yet there are no positions available. Why would anyone chose to be trained as a History professor if there is little to no turnover in those positions??

LOL YOU need to grow a brain. There are lots of jobs out there for those who wish to work or have trained in the proper field. Not just entry level jobs but IT, health care etc plus ALL of the building trades are begging for people to work. In case you don't know most skilled trades make decent wages 50k to 70k is not Walmart wages. Just because some sap has a lame ass arts degree that mommy and daddy paid for does not make him employable at 60K a year.

BTW, the occupy movement is more about taxation than employment. You sound like one off the typical protesters who don't even know why they are protesting.

So you`re imagining reasons to hate them. LMFAO!! Did you stop to think that maybe...they`re using their vacation time, disability, maternity leave or going to work from their campsite...etc?

I've not imagining anything. Take a good look at the people sitting around in the camp all day long, take out the stoners, rich kids trying to piss off dad and pro shit disturbers I don't think you would have many left.

Hey, hey... Don't be knocking the employability of folks with arts degrees. My brother in law has a degree in fine arts and is working steady at a high paying job. He has his on environmental consulting company.
And he probably worked his ass off to get there.

So sorry I have no idea....you see I live in a pretty nice up/down duplex that I have entirely renovated over the last 10 years...tile in the entry way as well as the kitchen/bathroom.....engineered hardwood upstairs and quality laminate in the basement with tile as well....my tenant likes the place and he pays me $800 a month to live there...sure sucks that my mortgage payment is $500 a month......you could try looking on craigslist/kijiji for your used tent instead of posting this crapulence on an escort forum you filthy proletariate socialist TROLL.

I went down to the VAG to have a look for myself. Initially, agreeing with the idea about Occupy from what I have seen on TV or read about, Corporations taking advantage of the lack regulations and frankly ripping off 99% of people to such an extreme extent global economies could be ruined. But what I saw was sort of a morph of other "camp" protests in this province. In a word, in kenchorney's word "shit disturbers".

They need to go. VAG is to important to be shit on by assholes. And the politicos need to find a better way to communicate their message.
I believe if they did this they might find more support.

A used tent....yuck.
Kind of like used underwear or a used matress.

There was a huge cardboard box in my underground parking....someone got a new bigscreen.
Maybe that could be your new house.....it might have those giant styrofoam packing blocks inside......those could be chairs!

Meh, the general population rarely turns out to vote in any election. Looking at the the folks down at the protest & i'm getting the feeling that these young ladies & gentlemen wouldn't even know where to go & vote. If you don't vote you just weaken the democratic process, soon the only people voting are the far right & left wing zealots with there own agendas. You can sit there & hold your breath till your blue in the face, sitting in your used tent but nobodies gonna take you seriously.
