That’s all well and good but the problem is the 98% of good cops, and the union, support the 2% that are bad cops. Until that changes nothing will change. I’ve had my share of encounters with the police in both Canada and the US. Most were decent and fair. One or two were aggressive and trying to create a conflict. It’s those guys that need to be weeded out. And it starts with their brethren.

Give you head a shake if you don't think the American policing system needs reform. If you have encountered police in the states, you will understand it is a night-and-day difference compared to encountering even the RCMP (who are the 'worst' of Canadian policing). The American policing culture is FUBAR and it will take a loooong time to shift.
