Another possible Canuck

With Sakic and now Paul Stasny out with a broken arm, the Avs seem unlikely to make the playoffs. Peter Forsberg has stated he would like to return to the Avs for a playoff run but it seemed unlikely the Avs will make and if they do, they probably won't go very far.

With Sundin going to the Nucks, would Forsberg look and possibly making a move to Vancouver?

No way, they wouldn't pitch for him. We don't need him and personally he's a waste of time and his best days are long gone. He'll want big dollars so he can get injured and scam another team!

If they need to pick up one or maybe 2 more players I'm pretty confident that they can pick up someone else more reliable and younger.

What we need is someone like a Nick Lidstrom on the back end and a sniper up front.

It would be a bad move. Forsberg is washed up and broken down. The Canucks need to get rid of their fragile defenceman Salo, and bring in someone dependable who can move the puck on defence, not add a forward who's one hit away from the disabled list.

If all he wants is a pro rated contract with the league minimum about 500k ...then we're paying on a per game basis. But even though he's a waste of space.
